T3Blog94 Sunday!!!!

The weekend goes by too fast. Good thing there are only 2 more weekends left. After then i can sleep all i want. Anyways, today we all went out (my family) and did a lot of stuff. First we went to the mall and me and my brother got hair cuts. After that we roamed the mall, then we went to order my new phone (FINALLY). After that we went to Costco and bought some groceries. When we came back home, i went to the doctor with my mom. She needs to get a shot since she cut her finger on the side of an opened pizza sause can....i know.....it sounds so unlikely. Anyways, the walk in clinic was closed so my dad took her to the emergency place. She's okay, but you can never be too sure. When i finally came home i studied for the french oral. I finished the science chapter 4 review and then half the Unit A review. I just have to finish the math homework, the science lab and the rest of teh unit A review. Then i have to start on that english project. After that everything should be done.

T3Blog93 Saturday

I woke up at 12. Then i ate breakfast which was cereal. Then after that I started watching TV. I tried doing some homework, i did a bit of the science karyotype lab and i also tried finishing off that math homework. I didn't finish the math homework or the lab, but at least i got something done. I ended up watching more Tv than doing any work. I also ate cookies, many cookies. ......I don't think i did anything else. Tomorrow i'm probably going to be out for most of the morning so i'll have to finish most of my homework later in the day.

T3Blog92 Debate!

So today was like a 3 hour day. During science we started out Karyotype lab. Then in english we got assigned a huge project due in about a week. I should start working on that, but i know i won't start until next weekend, when i won't have anymore time left. In french i just watched other peoples oral projects. Then in math i played chess with Vanessa and won! So happy.....Anyways after school was the big Debate tournament. I'll skip a few hours ahead and talk about my first debate. I talked for about 5 and a half minutes on the first debate about .....well i forgot the resolution, but i'm pretty sure vanessa and I won. The second debate was a close one. I talked for all 8 minutes including 15 seconds over time and i think i did pretty well. Unfortunately we lost. Then the last resolution -- TH would force oil company workers to bike to work everyday. It was such a funny resolution. I'm also pretty sure Vanessa and I won this debate as well. I'm not sure though. Anyways, after all our debates were done we watched the finals for the Seniors and then i went home. By the time i got home it was 8:30! I can't believe i stayed after school for so long.

T3Blog91 Field Trip!

Today was the well expected socials kayaking field trip. It was a lot of fun. I didn't realize how wet i'd get, but at least i had a change of clothes this time. Anyways the kayaking trip was awesome, Ben was my partner--thank god. He did all the rowing for me and without him i wouldn't have made it back to the camp area thingy. I did row a bit and i got tired too, but it was okay. Ben and I started playing that country game where you have to say a name of a place and the last letter of that place is the letter that the next country has to start with. Anyways that was a bit time killer when we both got tired. When i came back to school i went to PE and then i went to Debate after school. During debate i got pursuaded into coming to the churchill debate tournament tomorrow. So now i must spend all of my friday debating. It should be a lot of fun.

T3Blog90 Uncomfortable....

Did you know today was the water slide? If you didn't, then now you know. Anyways, my friend and I, on a all of a sudden spur of the moment decision, decided to go down the slip and slide. We were so wet after it (and cold as well) and when i changed my jeans got all wet......So Uncomfortable. Then after lunch i did my oral project in french. We did the whole fashion show thing and that was also uncomfortable in wet clothes. Then in math we got assigned so many questions. I must do that over the weekend. When i came home i finished all the flashcards in science and then i finished the last of the CYU's. Then after i finished that science i slept.

T3Blog89 So many things....

Hello! The day was so long today. In socials i handed in my essay and almost finished my socials map. In applied skills i sort of decorated my rocket, it's polka-dotted. It looks.....bad. The glue doesn't look nice on see through paper. Anyways i might fix that later, but probably not. By the way, I hope you know that i already donated my hats to that orphanage. I don't know if they got it yet, they haven't emailed me back. I can't wait till we watch the Shining. It's going to be awesome. I'll love coming to applied skills again. Anyways, during foods i had a dentist appointment. I forgot to tell Ms. McConnan I guess i'll have to tell her next class. Then when i came back (right before last block) i went to PE. We played more Badminton and I realized how bad i am at it. I am seriously no match against all the other people in my class. Anyways after school i went to Sunset, to volunteer. When i came back i worked on science, all the CYU's (except for 2). It was torture. I got to go know. Bye.

T3Blog88 Monday....

Hello! I woke up extra early today to go to Vanessa's house and work on our french skit. We got a lot finished, but i had to wake up so early. i guess it's for the best since when i came home i went to my cousins house and we hung out the rest of the day. We went to Queen Elizabeth park and roamed and looked at the flowers. When we were coming back home we got a bit lost, but we found our way in the end ( i was right!). Anyways when i got home i worked on that pending socials essay and now i'm writing this blog.....wow it seems so short. I guess i didn't do as much as i'd thought.

T3Blog87 Sunday

This whole day i went to Bellingham with my family. So no homework was done today. I can't say much about what i've done. Shopping, walking, eating, and some other stuff. I guess this isn't much of a blog. I really need to finish my socials essay, i guess that'll be finished tomorrow. Actually i just remembered that i did work on my socials essay. I wrote the last two paragraphs, which includes the conclusion. now i guess tomorrow i'll type it out and then edit. That's really all i did today, so i'm going to sleep, bye!

T3Blog86 Saturday.....

So today wasn't a very good day. I was stuck in the house working on science the whole day. I managed to finish all the notes, but that's probably all i'll get done when it comes to science today. I'm so tired of science. Ms. Tang is rushing through it quite fast and i can't wrap my head around all the homework. Do we really need to hand in another package? It's a lot to finish for me. I'm going to be working through the next week so that i can hand it in on time. So basically this whole day has been dedicated to science homework. nothing else happened.

T3Blog85 Friday....

So friday wasn't too bad. Frankly i juat wanted the school day to end. When i got home after school i faced a whole mound of homework to finish. First i tackled the socials essay which is due on Tuesday. Then i finished the english journal which is due today at midnight. Although Mr.Hauk wanted it to be handed in before midnight, or 11:59. I managed to finish about half of the essay, but it still wasn't as long as i wanted it. I need to make the essay about 3 computer pages long (double spaced of course). After i wrote as much of the essay as i could i finished the english journal. I think i wrote about a hlaf page. So today there's been a lot of writing. And tomorrow there will also probably be a lot of writing. I have all of the science package to finish. I haven't started at all. So much homework!

T3Blog84 Socials Second

Hello. So socials was the second best class of the day today. That doesn't usually happen, but applied skills made up for all the horrible classes. In applied skills i finished my rocket (except for the igniter) and then played table tenis with Ben and Jasmine on one of the tables in the classroom. It was so much fun. I beat Ben, but Jasmine creamed both of us really badly. After that was foods. Foods wasn't actually that bad, but PE changed my opinion. During foods, the lab wasn't bad, the fish was okay. The fries were better, but i guess i ate too much and the next class was LANGARA. During PE, we went straight to Langara and i guess i hadn't digested my food quick enough. By the time i finished my stomach was hurting really badly. Quite horrible, my ears started ringing.....So that's why socials is the second best class of the day.

T3Blog83 Wednesday....

So today .....in science, i handed in that science package. There was a quiz today and two diagrams due next class. Why does this have to happen? Everything is due on Friday. 2 science diagrams, math homework, french skit script, and two english written journals. Fun stuff. In english we started a new book, "I am the cheese" by robert cormier. I've already read the book, it's pretty boring, but i guess i'll have to read it again. I really don't like reading books twice, it's so repetitive. Anyways, after reading a bit of the book in english, there was lunch. I had spaghetti. It was pretty good.....since my mom made it. Anyways, after lunch was french. I managed to finish my french skit script and now i just have to check it over and ask the teacher to edit it. I hope it isn't written too badly. Then in math i didn't finish my homework, but i still managed to get a bonus point for explaining one question. I will finished my homework this time. Probably tomorrow though. Today i worked on english (one of the journal projects) and one science diagram. Now i must sleep. Goodnight.

T3blog82 Tuesday, It's Tuesday!

So today in Socials studies I was bombarded with an immence amount of homework that i had missed last class. I still have to read over all the different stories/articles on native people in Canada and their encounter with people from the New World. Some stories are quite tragic (so i've heard). Anyways, today we started a new map of Canada, and there is still the whole matter of the socials essay. I must finish that as well. After socials, i managed to finish a bit of my rocket, even though the wings wouldn't stick on the body of the rocket. After that was foods. We had a demo. It was pretty boring, but i got to eat some fish! I guess it was worth it. And finally there was PE. Badminton is sooooo boring. I mean i'd rather do the laundry in my house (which would take a while since we've got a lot of it). After school i had volunteering, but before that i finished all my flashcards! After volunteering i finishe the chapter 3 review and now i'm goin to sleep....bye!

T3Blog81 Homework. Devoirs. However you say it, it doesn't sound good.

So the day started off with science. And guess what's for homework? The science chapter 3 package is due next class (i already knew that) and we also have a very .....interesting diagram to draw. I think you might be able to guess, or someone will make a big deal out of it in their blog. Anyways, Ms. Tang seems to be rushing through things with us. She wants to spend quite a bit of time on those labs. I still don't know what type of labs those will be. During english, since we finished our presentations, Mr. Hauk started a new project with us. We have to write a journal entry of a famous person visiting their parents grave. He said it had to do with the subject matter we're going into. I don't understand what he means by that. Are we reading a book about people dying? Who knows. So that project is due on Friday- by the way so is the science diagram. After that, was french. Our skit much be finished sometime this week. I don't know if i'll have enough time to finish it. I'll try i guess. And finally there's math. ooooh Math. I think i finally understand what's happening in math. Now that we have homework though......eh. There's no guarantee it'll be finished by next class, or the class after that. I don't know why but math always seems to get pushed aside when i'm busy. Maybe it's the fact that he doesn't check our homework.

T3Blog80 eighty days already?

I can't believe that there's been eighty days to this term already. I don't really care how many more all left, but I really want the work to end. It seems as though the school work as gone up a gear since last term, as all the teachers start to finish the curriculum. Anyways, today Vanessa, Winnie, and Vania came to my house. We all worked on french. We made posters for the fashion show project that happening in a few weeks. I finished my poster and started my script. Everybody loved DJ, he kept walking in on us and Vania (who is supposedly afraid of dog) always jumped to the chance to pet him. I think he liked Vania too. Anyways, after they left i continued the flashcards and i finished my plant diagram. I also went around langara with my cousin. It was good catching up with her. Anyways i much go. Need that sleep.

T3Blog79 Saturday.......

So Saturday wasn't a total waste of time. I managed to finish the pamphlet with my friend, i hadn't had high hopes for finishing it. Well that's one thing checked off the list i guess. As for my accomplished science work, there isn't much to say about it. I haven't really started. I finished 3.2 notes. So i still have everything else to do. Hmmmm.....what else is there left to say.....I still have my science diagram to finish. I guess i should draw that flower, maybe tomorrow. I hope i don't have too much homework next week. I want to focus on science.

T3Blog78 Friday!

Let's see....what happened on friday? Well obviously i'm glad the week is over, but now i have one busy weekend ahead of me. On Saturday my friend is coming over and we're working on this pamphlet we have to make for the volunteering at Sunset. Speaking of which, i still have to edit the poster and put it onto my USB. I guess i'll do that tomorrow. Hmmm.....so anyways, today was track finals so i didn't go to school. I don't think you wrote me as an excused absence for that day, but i don't know for sure who it was. My mom got an email that why i'm telling you. Anyways, in track i was surprised to find that i got the best place in long jump. I hadn't even expected to participate in long jump this year. Anyways, i got forth in long jump, and 5th in triple jump, and finally 6th in high jump. I guess it's a descending staircase or something. Anyways, when 2 o'clock came i gave my jersey and left. When i got home i basically did nothing at home. I was way to lazy and tired. My muscles were recovering all weekend long. Too much stretching for them i guess, especially the legs since all i did was jump all day long.

T3(super)blog77 One Short Movie

Hello, so today was a good day. It went by realy fast though. Like one of those short movies that end too soon and you end up watching another one because you think you have a lot of time on your hands. Or maybe that's just me. Anyways, it was a day 2 today and science started everything off. I realize now that we have approzimately a week for each chapter left in the textbook. I think i should go ahead a little so it won't be as overwhelming later on. We'll see though, i don't know how it'll turn out because i have enough homework as it is. Science was one big note taking class. Very boring. I don't know how many more i can put up with. It's really quite a struggle to keep up with the same routine over and over again. She should just give us free time in class to work on things we have to do for science. At least i can get some work done then. Anyways, after science, there was the big performance for english. I was so excited. My nerves weren't even that bad, i guess when it comes to acting i'm okay. We did great, and i think the backdrop really boosted our mark up. In the end of it all i got 39 out of 40 for my acting part. I think it's out of more marks, but i don't have the criteria sheet so i wouldn't know. After english (and lunch) i worked on the french project for french class. My group, vanessa, winnie, and Vania aren't very far on the script. In fact we haven't started that yet. Speaking of which i have to ask my mom if they can all come over to my house on Sunday. We did work, but didn't get much done. After french was math. I understand math, some-what. now i just have to finish the homework. I'm going to try and get some good marks from mr. c. It's pretty difficult for me at least. I need teaching for the normal grade 9 curiculum as well as the enriched stuff. But he only goes over the enriched stuff. Over the weekend i guess i'll review that. You see how many things accumulate? Now i have science package, math homework, and french skit to work on over the weekend. Not to mention the socials essay which is coming up, i just don't know when.

T3Blog76 Fast Forward

Wow, it's Wednesday already. I can't believe that this week is flying by so fast. Tomorrow will be Thursday and then Friday and then the week will end again. Anyways, i realized today that i missed the most in social studies. The one day i miss social studies we get homework and important homework at that. The information we got 2 classes ago is supossed to be used in our essay. what luck i have. Now that i have somewhat cought up on socials, i guess it's okay. I'm going to work really hard when it comes to prepping for the essay. Anyways, during applied skills you now what we did. We probably took more than 20 rounds of those 2 rows of desks today. Ben and I were playing charades while waiting in line, thus my unattentivness. On to foods now i guess......we read articles and presented our summaries of them. foods has become the least fun class in all of day 1. It's just so boring. Worse than french! Well....maybe not. I don't know, i'm still pondering over which is better. After foods, i went to PE. Badminton isn't much fun either. I need to find a way to make it more interesting. Maybe invent an alternative to badminton. maybe Goodminton. That joke was so over-rated.........

T3Blog75 Tuesday Already?

I don't know what made the day fly by so fast, but it did. I didn't even realize when first block started and when the final bell (and fire bell) rang. Boy this blog is taking quite a while since i keep chatting on msn, facebook, and working on this pamphlet for the volunteering i have at Sunset. We're being environmentally friendly and i must make a pamphlet talking about how Sunset has a recycling program or something of the sort. On to my day i guess. As for science, it went well. We took many notes.....and before i forget i must re stalk on paper because people are getting annoyed at my asking of paper. Okay, you haven't realized it, but i just put paper into my backpack. Now that that's done i'll move on to english. Nothing happened in Science anyways. During english we started our performances. Now, my group came all prepared and we brought all our props as well, but we didn't go today. We're actually going on Thursday now. Wish me Luck i guess. I hope our groups blows everyone's mind away. Today the groups that performed were okay, Sylvia forgot most of her lines, i felt so sorry for her. Everyone was mouthing her lines to her. It's a good thing she kept the book handy and on the right page too, or else it would've been even worse. Anyways, my group is going next class so yup. Anyways, in french we got a nice surprise. We're going to have a short oral exam/test in June where the teacher gives us a question and we must devise a 2 minutes conversationg based on that question in 8 minutes. The question can be from anywhere in the material we have learned all year. If she hadn't given us the questions that may be on the test it would have been really unfair. I hope i can get out of speaking too much if i have a good partner. HOPEFULLY. On top of that the french oral project is due sometime. And Winnie wants us to meet on the weekend, i thought i could rest this weekend. Guess not.....Anyways i must go. Need SLeep.

T3Blog74 Hello Monday

The party was okay. It could have been better, especially the movie choices. I didn't want to watch Avatar is ain't too good. The movie sucked. At least the food was good. I wanted to find Mr. Martin and get him to sign my note, but i didn't see him stop by for the party. I think he was in the back of the classroom, but i didn't see him. Anyways, the movie sucked but i had to live through about 3 hours of boredom anyways. Next period (aft applied skills) was foods. I only missed that foods lab last class, but it was carrot cake and i really wanted some! So sad.....Maybe i'll try and make the cake myself at home. Who knows.....In PE we played badminton. Before we actually started playing though we had to run 3 laps and this is when i realized that i probably wouldn't have made it through the sunrun. When i finished those 3 laps my mouth got soo dry i couldn't feel any saliva and 10Km many times more than 3 laps. I wouldn't have made it anyway. So sad. PE was still fun though, we only played badminton so i got it easy going after that.

T3Blog73 SUNDAY BluEs

Hello. No SunRun. But just to make up for it I woke up early and got a good start on my flashcards. I finished them by 2pm! I think that took about 5 hours......Today my group for the english skit were meeting up to practice for the play. I came, but didn't feel quite as healthy as the rest. My voice wasn't the loudest and my ears kept getting plugged. When i got home i finished the CYU's and now all i have left is the chapter review and the notes. I think i'll just leave the notes and ask Ms.Tang for an extention since i was sick. Anyways, i must go tomorrow is school and i need to figure out what to bring to the applied skills party.

T3Blog72 Recovering from the "Event"

I'm calling this "event" 7.11. 7 for the date being the 7th on Friday. and 11 to mimic the tragic date of 9.11. It was that bad....Today i tried to walk around and do work or some kind, i even brought myself to finish 1 CYU from the science textbook, but after that my brain fried. Every time i stood up a wave of dizziness and then a huge pain in my head occurred. My hopes of recovering before the Sun Run were getting slim. Anyways, since Saturday was a day of rest that is one more day off the weekend. And science homework is building!

T3Blog71 Sick To my stomach

Yeah so I know we must blog everyday, but do u really want to know how my day was? Horrible. Painful. Filled with vomit. I basically puked my guts out all day. Every half hour or so it was another stop at the bathroom to rid my stomach of food......and anything else in there. After i while i ran out of food and started throwing up acid.....not a good sign. It wasn't until 6pm that i finally started feeling okay-ish. Stopped puking (thank god). Then i rested because i was scared if i got up it might start all over again. I doubt i'll be able to do the Sun Run on Sunday. So sad for me.....

T3Blog70 Another Long one

So today was Thursday. Yes, today was a very long day even though i didn't go to school. You see I had a dentist appointment in the morning and then I started feeling really bad so my mom let me stay at home. When it came time to go to track i was feeling a lot better and didn't totally die when i came home at 7:30. When i finally did make it home i was glad that eliminations finally ended, now i can worry about finals. What i didn't expect to happen was my sickness, which i thought was only temporary, to get worse. I woke up at 5:30am and found myself throwing up.....not only that but when i woke up again i threw up again. The day ended so well and then that had to happen. At least i got some homework done during the day.

T3Blog69 Long......

Day...... It was so long. I've been awake since 6:30am and now it's about 11pm. More than 12 hours. The collaborative day didn't make such a difference because i spent some time working on science. I'm more expectant of tomorrow than anything because it's going to be really long. I have track eliminations after school and i know i'll probably have to stay until 7. Maybe later. Today wasn't any better though. After school i had track and field. Triple Jump! Ended around 6 and then i went home for 15 minutes then was off to Winnie's house to work on english project. When i got home i ate dinner, watched TV (more like slept until the shows ended) and now i'm writing this blog. So today has been a long day, and the fact that it was a day two made it even harder. On top of all that BUSKER FEST. Busker Fest today turned out much better by the way. The noise problem wasn't as bad when we moved the position of our performances on the second floor. We actually got quite a few donations becuase people could hear us and were near their locker. Anyways, today I did a lot of stuff. I have math homework, i'll probably finish it tomorrow before my last event for track. I also have a lot to do for my science package. I only finished up to 2.2 for the sections, i have 4 more to go and then the Chapter review and then the flashcards. It's going to be one brutal weekend. Well i've written enough i must go bye!

T3Blog68 I will blog

Today you asked me why i wasn't blogging as much any more. Or your exact words were "How are you and people i don't teach in common?" Me = "How?" You = "Neither of you send me blogs."
The statement is true, but that doesn't mean i haven't been doing them. It's just that lately i've been busy and when i write my blog i'm too lazy to send it to you. It only gets published and I haven't sent it to you in a while. I"m pretty sure i'm up to date though. Anyways, Busker Fest today was better, but i think we should have an MC of some sort that can get people's attention. It might work. The people in the caf. did watch us, but that's all they did. And people on the second floor don't even bother to watch. It's quite annoying if we perform and they ignore......I feel minuscule! Anyways, socials was fun, we watched this video about appollo trying to land on the moon. TRYING, but i don't think it succeeded. Then, in foods we took notes and ......that's all. In PE we played various games including this game called Mosh Ball or something. It's related to dodge ball i just don't know how. Anyways, i must go......my brother mysteriously started throwing up.....i hope it isn't food poisoning.

T3Blog67 Busker Flop

I'm not saying the first day of the Busker Fest was bad or anything, it's just that my group didn't perform up to my standards. Well, for starters the singers (me and Nat) were sort of off key because we couldn't hear the instrumentals. Normally we'd change our voices to the music, but since we can't hear it we don't know if it's the same tune/pitch/octave even. So anyways, i'm hoping we can get a mike of some sort and then stand closer to the players so that we can hear then and that we'll be heard as well. Today was pretty bad. Not in the sense that it was actually bad, but i don't know what i mean by "Bad." Whatever you want to make it i guess. Science in the morning, it wouldn't be so boring if we didn't take notes the whole time. Can't we do something fun?? English.....test.....don't ask about the last section. That essay writing thing (or written part not really essay i guess) was brutal. The topic that you had to argue against or fore was "Life is a walking shadow." I don't even know what that means. I kept going on and on about how we're shadows in life......there were three minutes left and i still have 2 paragraphs left to write. I basically wasted my time trying to construct a good first and second paragraph and also thinking of how to interpret the phrase given. It didn't work out well. Everything else was pretty straight forward though. Hope i did good. French = earthquake drill. Math = got our test back. Didn't fail it! 33/38. It's 86%. Soooo happy. Then i had track after school. I worked on science the rest of the day and now i'm sleepy.

T3Blog65 Not As tired as i thought

So after i woke up i started working on the science diagram, but only after spending all the morning reading that darn book. Why i didn't put it down i don't know. I also had no clue as to why i was even reading the book in the first place. It was supposed to be something to pass the time the night before. I had already read the book before, there was no need to read it again! Anyways, I finished the diagram, then went to Ben's house top work on english. We didn't actually do much because we go t distracted and we only practiced a bit because Winnie wasn't there. Anyways when i left his house I went to my grandparents house with my family. I brought the book. So i was there reading and finally i finished it......god it was horrible my eyes are still straining from reading in little light in the car ride to their house. At my grandparents house i realize i left my vocabulary sheet for the test tomorrow at Ben's house. He sent me all the vocabulary words, but i was left to fill in the definitions myself. I hope i got all of them. At least this was a good excuse to study before hand. How i still have to study a bit more, but i think i have the vocabulary down.

T3Blog64 Nothing but Nothing

So today i woke up pretty and my day was.....okay i guess. First i had breakfast, the usual, and then i started watching TV. After that my friend called and i played outside with her aunt's dog, my dog, her and I. The two dogs had a lot of fun ... after spending our time outside we went to her house. I beat her at these really ancient video games (from Atari) like ping pong and soccer (ancient soccer). So anyways, when i came home it was around 5:30. I, then, read some of the Midsummer night's dream book and then I worked on science. I finished half of the diagram and then started working on the analogy project. I'm hoping on finishing the science cell analogy project by Tuesday because i have track basically every other day after that. Tomorrow i may work on it, but i doubt it. I want to work on the science diagram and notes and stuff first. Anyways, near the end of the day (being 10ish) i started reading a book i had lying around. Let me tell you....that was a huge mistake. I kept reading....and reading.....and reading. Next thing i new it was 4am. I woke up the next day at 10:30 (pretty good considering my sleeping style).

T3Blog63 TGIF

So finally the week is over. I was so delighted when the last bell rang and i could finally go home. I just wanted to sleep. I ended up studying for the english test with my little brothers help. He really loves reading Shakespeare (i think he get's it from his sister). I went over some of the vocabulary with him and then the rest of the day i basically watched TV. There really isn't anything else to say. I know i have a busy weekend ahead though. I really want to get some of those science notes done before the weekend is up. I hope that happens. Anyways, i'm tired and need to rest.

T3Blog62 Speedy Sloth

Hello. I'm getting pretty busy lately. I've also been pretty lazy.....yet not lazy at the same time. Maybe it's bad scheduling on my part. There has been a huge build -up on homework i have yet to finish. Don't get me started on science and English isn't being any better, although after today English shouldn't be too much of a problem other than the test. I plan on studying a lot for that. I had a math test today and i know for sure that i got 2 questions wrong.....maybe even 3. There were only 7 questions, but i'm sure each question is worth at least 4 points. On top of science, english, and math I have french to review. It seems during third term the teacher gets down to the real stuff. It seems as though what we've been learning throughout the year has been nothing but a review until third term. This is when the school year really begins. We have a listening quiz today, i'm pretty sure i did well on that. In english we went over terms for the test and then had time to practice the scene we have. The scenes aren't going to be presented until May. 11 so our group still has another week (thank god). After school today i went to Winnie's house to work on English. I also had track today, but nobody else was available any other day so i had to skip today. Mr. Mcgillveroy wasn't too happy.... He gave me this big lecture, sent me on a guilt trip. I wouldn't have skipped if it wasn't extremely important (we really do have a lot to do for English). What's done is done now, I'm obviously going to come to eliminations on Wednesday next week. Well now i must finish reading this book i have for a book test tomorrow.

T3Blog61 Memories

Today i remembered that video we watched in applied skills, it was pretty keen. Yes, keen. Whoever thought of that idea, to protest by not protesting, they are very keen. I thought the video was also witty. Everyone knew they were protesting, even the police, but they weren't able to do anything about it because it wasn't actually protesting. They still got in trouble, but the reaction from the crowd was enough to tell the people who wanted them out that the message had crossed. Anyways, three word to some it all up, Keen, Witty, Inspired. PE was awesome. I wore my track jersey. We played while some new songs were playing in the background. So anyways, obviously no homework there. And then there was foods. We baked nothing. I remember that jelly roll lab. The Jelly Rolls didn't turn out well. I didn't even eat mine, it had an after taste of egg. After school i only studied for math. That is all. I really want to get a good mark on the Test. I think next year, in grade 10, i'll take normal math because i don't want it affecting my possible enrolment in IB. Wow this blog was short. A good rest for your eyes i guess.

T3Blog60 NO snow.

So today was a really random day. I woke up and felt sort of horrible.....I think i was sick. WAS sick because after a few hours i felt better. Maybe it was morning sickness......if that happens to regular ppl.........Although it wasn't really morning since i woke up at 7:30. Maybe that's why i felt sick. Anyways, during that stage of head aches and coughing, i went on the computer and started playing around with some pictures i took. I was completely messing around with them, it's a lot of fun. Maybe next year for my elective i'll take photography. That would be fun......When my hours of sickness passed i was pretty bored. I started looking out the window hoping it would snow. I know that hope is sort of short lived because first of all it was sunny outside and i checked the weather so ......no snow! That's a real relief.

T3(super blog)Blog59 Shakespeares Followes

We are Shakespeare's followers. All day i was reciting the words written by the great poet himself, William Shakespeare. During Social Studies, after i lengthy quiz, when we had free time everyone was reciting their lines. I, being Helena, have the most lines and therefore need to be more dramatic for people to listen to me. And for that I am a Shakespeare follower. In applied skills all that came out of our mouths (other than those overly rehearsed sort of getting old songs) were the lines written a couple hundred years ago. And for that we are all Shakespeare's followers. To be or not to be is not the question, to recite or not to recite is. If it was to be or not to be we would be quite depressed. And for that we are Shakespeare's followers. During foods, we took a short break from our many spoken word because there was need for a break. We couldn't talk anyways because we had a test and because we had notes (quite awe-full) to take. For that we aren't Shakespeare's followers. However, during PE we went back to our old habits. Back to the way of Shakespeare. We stopped when it started to hail (you can't keep it up all day). Then after school 4 dedicated souls (Ben, Natalie, Winnie, and I) rehearsed our act two more times. Having finally embedded the sacred phrases in our minds. And for that we are Shakespeare's followers.

T3Blog58 Got a lot done

Hello! Do you like the change in font? Hmm....I think it makes the blog look more alive. it also makes the blog look smaller. But today's blog isn't going to be big so you don't have to worry about that. Like yesterday i slept and ate and watched TV, but i also went to my brothers soccer thingy (maybe it runs in the family). At his soccer thingy....his coach asked me if i wanted to assist in coaching him in his classes. I think i will, i mean i don't have anything else to do on Saturday's. After my brothers class i bought new cleats (for soccer) because mine were on the verge of ripping. These new cleats seem promising, but i still think the other ones were "lucky" in a way. Anyways, after that my brother, dad, and I went to pick my mom up from work and then we finally came home again! At home i finished all my math homework.....with some difficulty, but i finished it! So today was very productive. Hmmm....although i still have to get a new cell phone, but that's for later. Anyways I've got nothing else to say except.....BYE till tomorrow.

T3blog57 Moody

I'm in no mood to blog today. I just want to get it over with. When i came back home after school....i was tired. I had to walk home with two textbooks.....not very good on my back. I couldn't begin to think about homework or Pre-IB or whatever.....i just slumped down on my couch and rested. Rested in this case is watching TV for a few hours. I did get a bit of work done near the end of the day, i almost finished my math homework and i knitted some more of my checkered hat. I hope someone in the world likes an orange and green checkered hat because that's what i'm making. The checkering method turned out greath so far. No complaints. During school we got some english homework (finish the book, answer questions, and finish the reading circle write-ups). In science i didn't get any homework! Well....if you count taking notes for chapter 10 homework...then i guess i did, but other than that. In math i got homework-as always- but at least i finished it today. French......yaayyyy no homework. And i even liked the substitute today. She was even better than the last. If we could rate substitutes that would be awesome (they would always have to stay on gaurd). Anyways, i am tired. Have a nice weekend. Bye!

T3Blog56 Busy

There was so much that needed to be done today! After school Natalie, Ben, Winnie and I worked on the English project we have. We didn't get very far because it took so long to make the background. So we're going to have to meet one more time to put all the stars on our awesome 3D model of the Night Sky. I should probably rewind to when i went to school and tell you about my day. Um...well. French was first, and we played a game and reviewed our homework. I did my french homework while i ate breakfast this morning, but it was alright because Ms. Ziakos still thought i did a good job. In math we got a review for our unit test coming up....I really doubt, in fact i know i won't do well in it. I plan on studying for it this next week- maybe not over the weekend though. Anyways, in science I think we had a quiz today, but i can't seem to recall if that was last class or today. Finally there was english. We basically learned more about the midsummer night's dream. I should get my sleep now, bye!

T3Blog55 random

Friday!!!! I'm so glad there was no school....In the morning i woke up at 8 thinking i had school because my dad kept trying to wake me up. I fell asleep again and woke up at 10 after that. After i woke up i ate breakfast and watched some Tv. I basically watched TV all day long.....Well i also made a graph for science fair and went online. Gosh, science fair seems to be coming so fast. I don't want to leave it till the last possible minute, but it seems to be going in that direction. I'm sure Shania and I will do fine. Other than the graph i didn't do anything educational today. I was going to, but then i didn't. Yup....so that was my day. That was literally all i did.

T3blog54 SunSHine

Okay so the day started out fine....happy and fun. I watched a soccer game and it was sunny throughout the whole thing. It was so much fun running through the grass under the sun. We tied our soccer game by the way. So yeah anytime before 7 i was happy. I finished all my math homework and went to my grandparents house. I ate really sugary cookies too! Anyways after 7 when i went on the computer i realized i had a lot of stuff to work on for Science. There were many things to make and i still haven't finish them all. I'm definitely sleeping after school tomorrow. Need that sleep back!! Anyways i just have to brush and finish off the last of the flashcards and I'm basically done. I'm going to go....need to finish.

T3Blog52 tired

i knew we had to write something about the that song i just didn't know what the topic was. Now that i know i guess i'll just write about it in today's blog. First of all i'd like to say that Bob Marley's songs all seem to have a huge message to them. Or maybe it was just the ones used to the playing for change music videos. This song is about equality. In one verse he says that there will always be war if we still have a lower class and are racial. He also says that war is not the solution.....when he says "killing the country, for no reason". He also refers to the conflicts in Africa. The more you look at it the more messages you find. And the fact that the music video was made by different people around the world, different ethnicities and econimis status's, sort of makes the song have more meaning. The people in the music video aren't being racist or discriminated by their wealth. That's definately not a coincident. I've got a feeling we're going to be listenning to one of the next video's maybe...."Don't Worry". Anyways, today i got some math homework. I didn't get to finish that math homework, but i understood math so that's better than finishing it and not understanding. I studied a lot today for the math test on Wednesday. I also read over some science notes for the science test on Friday. Since i slept a bit late yesturday i slept for 2 hours after school today. When i woke up it was 9 and i couldn't believe i'd actually fallen asleep. Now i'm very wide awake..........

T3Blog51 Sean's Pro-D

Sean condraticted himself today. He claimed he had a "Brain Cramp", but he in fact did not do any work today, or any that we told me. He was supossed to meet Jian Vern and Kevin for a project (i'm guessing english), but Kevin and Jian Vern were too lazy. So again, i guess today is a slacking day. Hmm.....I wonder how late he's going to stay up tomorrow. I should ask him. Although we don't have any homework tomorrow.

T3Blog50 Sean's Sunday

So today Sean actually did something! Well i guess he needed to do something after slacking for two days. So Sean, Rachel, Yomi, Lucien, William, and Iris met up to practice for the Busker fest today. They practiced for hours and hours on the song they were going to do. This whole thing by the way is probably being run by Yomi because i hear she's like the group "leader." Anyways after all that practicing Sean's hand died......or got really cramped. Good thing tomorrow is a Pro-D day because he'll probably not be able to write tomorrow.

T3Blog49 Sean's Saturday

Apparently i'm supposed to write about nothing today. Do you know why? Cause Sean told me he did NOTHING, absolutely nothing today. I'm guessing it was a mash between TV, sleeping, and staring into space. But then again i don't know Sean's definition of nothing. So you can fill in the blanks today......i guess no homework was done.

T3(super)Blog48= Sean's first blog.

I can't act like sean when i talk so i won't be talking in the first person. Today Sean's day was boring. He went to the recognition assembly and from what i know got recognized for getting straight A's and Honor Roll. Yayyyy good for him. Anyways during the assembly he was getting teased by Cory and Aaron for who knows what... he mentioned it so i'm writing it in. But don't think much of it. Anyways, in applied skills he claimed he was bored. Here's a quote, "I'm bored." It seemed like such a busy day for him.

T3Blog43 Homework, Homework

I know i shouldn't have left all this homework till Saturday and Sunday, but what could i do? I needed my sleep. I shouldn't make excuses though. It's all my fault!!!!!!!!! I'm not actually that upset though. Anyways, yes, i left everything till today. I decided-a very bad decision on my part-to do my homework in front of the TV. Not good. I would start shaking my finger at myself saying "Tisk Tisk, when will you learn" if i weren't so busy writing this blog. I realized that watching TV slows down the person doing homework by .....well.....a lot! Maybe i'll do a science fair project on that. Who knows. Anyways the observation of myself doing that would be "write about half a line on the paper, then watch ten minutes of TV. Return back to the paper. Watch TV. During adds quickly finish half the homework assigned-if possible. Then move on to other homework". In this case there was no other homework to finish (because math was very miniscule) other than science. All those Chapter reviews.......notes......flashcards.......shivers down my spine. Watching TV is good, when your doing science home all day. Although i managed to finish a lot, in 12 hours time! And that was my very boring day! opp's i just dropped my cell phone.......

T3Blog42 Happy Vasakhi!

So today was Vasakhi! Or as one of my friends calls it the "Indian Parade" ........ wke up pretty erly today, i guess it was for the excitement of the event. My friend and I left at 11 and celebrated and ate and walked to fraser and back. It's the only time of the year when i can go so far away from home alone with a friend without my parents knowing where i am. I mean who is going to kidnap a kid on Vasakhi? Anyways, when i came back home i hung out with my friends until around 6 o'clock. After they finally left i started doing english and science homework. Shania and I finally completed our science poster. We alternated working on it. At one point she was working on it while i was completing english questions and at one point i was working on it while she was doing something else.....We edited together after the information was on the poster and now we've finished it! All we have to do now is make a Bibliography for all the citations. I didn't realize how long making a science poster would take, but we said our good-byes at around midnight so it took quite a while. Anyways, i must go i need my sleep. Bye.

T3Blog41 Long Day

So today started out fine. I went to science, where we had many voting quiz's. Half the class was gone because there was a math contest, so Ms. Tang decided not to have those two real quiz's. For science we have loads of homework. I still have to finish my chapter reviews and 18 more flashcards. I also must study. During english we went over the english homework (i did really well) and then we started reading the play again. I find reading Shakespeare out loud is way more fun. You can be all dramatic and spontaneous. Anyways, after english i forgot that we had three periods before lunch so i hurried to french and forgot to switch binders. It normally isn't a problem because i have most of my homework in my french "folder" which i take home instead of the binder. I wasn't lucky today though. Ms. Ziakos was checking our homework and I had the homework which was meant for HOME, but she was also checking the class work we completed last time. Guess what, i left that in my binder. So i only got to show her half my homework and only got 5 out of 10 on the homework check.. So sad. I even asked if i could go to my locker, but she said "Too bad." I didn't know she was that strict with homework......Next time i'm not forgetting to change binders. Anyways, after that unfortunate misfortune i let it go and then trudged off the math. We have a student teacher so the learning is going pretty slow, just how i like it! After school was track which was fun. I think i came in second for triple jump! Happy.......

T3Blog40 Thurday= Block Change

I don't know how to sum up the day, good? Bad? A bundle full of homework? I had track after school today so i basically missed all the lazy time i spend between 4 and 6. That sucks. I had some french and English homework, but that was the least of my worries.... In math we were assigned this probability question, it has something to do with the probability of how many times a thumtack will land on its flat side. I don't have a thumtack though...... So i have just noticed that my blogs will be Shorter than usual That's probably because i don't remember what happened to me a couple of hours ago. We are pretty loud in our classes ( MY classes). Especially since Mr. Marting asigned us a debate project. I think the debate project has been the best project of the year though. Anyways after school i wanted to relax before starting any homework, or doing any at all, but i had to go to track. While i was walking back i noticed the sunset, pretty spectacular! All those colors...you just want to keep looking at them...Until the day ends....then I realized I had homework to finish...

T3(super)Blog39 Love this week so far.

Welcome, thy mentor of philanthropy. Has thou had a splendid 24 hours? My day, like night, hath been most comical. When the sun, low in the sky, i arose. From peaceful slumber and fantastical, vision in the comforting dark of night. Clean thy teeth, comb thy hair, and eat thy food. In this morning of fair weather in light. Winds don'testh blow harsh in a day like this. As i treaded the grey path to thy place. Of learning and sociable altitude. I know not the meaning of the last word. Yet, I still strut to class like all others. Speaking thy language is enjoyable. Yea, cannot take away the excitement. When speak'th the language of foreign people. The language foreign is far more easy. Than the numbers in my jumbl-ed head. New, teacher can't changed my situation. Though my condition in certain science. Has seen the light of day I do not yet. Obtain the stature i truly deserve. For, my work hath been lazy-fied lately. Soon, nor A, nor B will be in my grasp. I must alter my ways of knowledge gain. Thy confused speech keeps me from standing up. Yet, if you read'th loud enough you will. Enjoy the pleasant tunes i once spoke out. While writing this blog for they teachers eyes. English hath taught me well, yet i hath much. Still to learn, don't mock walk i lack in word! I will and can still turn and learn to walk. Now i must rest, brush, and lay'th thy head. Down on downy soft pillow made for sleep.

T3Blog38 Fun Stuff

So today was pretty fun. In Foods we got a lot of free time to talk and what not. Our conversation varied from marriage to Pre-IB. Although i don't know how we started at marriage. WHo knows. In PE i also had much fun. Playing soccer = good times well spent. Even lunch was pretty fun. During social studies we had our debate today. I think it was basically a tie, but my group did pretty good considering the circumstances (we didn't prepare well). Actually both teams sort of ran out of time at the end. I was trying to stretch for time in my very last speech because the stuff written in my rebuttal speech was supposed to be already said by my partners but it wasn't and you can't add any new information in the last speech. So i don't know how well i did there.....but over all it was a very lively debate. There was much shouting and laughing and clapping and interrupting. During Jian Vern and Allens part i kept telling them to get on with the speech, but they didn't and in the end they ran out of time to say all their points. It was so funny watching them rush through the whole thing in 15 seconds. Anyways, as i said before.....it looked like a tie. At least that's what most people wrote (i hope!). Finally to end the day we sang. I think that was a good way to end it, but my mought got dry after a while. Needed more water. After that i went to track. Worked on Javelin, long jump and then walked home. Then went to volunteering and had fun there too, and then finally came home and watched some TV while making science flashcards. Anyways, i'm gonna brush now.......c ya.

T3Blog37

Monday!!! yaaaayyyy......I was bored this whole day. Except for when i worked on the science project and socials debate. Allen is sort of confused about what to do and i don't like it.......i mean debate is tomorrow and now he's asking what speaker he is? Anyways, the science poster is what i'm really worried about. Actually it's mostly the bibliography.....because we only have two sources cited and we need atleast 10. I think Shania and I can do it, but i don't want to.....i really don't!! Citing is so horribly brutal. It's like torture for the average teen. At least that's what i think of it. Anyways i must go now......BYe!

T3(super)Blog36 Bookworm.

It's Sunday!I had the best sleep i've ever had today! For some reason i felt like it was a really important day, even though it wasn't. Before the breakfast i worked on my french (just a bit of review) and science flashcards. I can't believe i'm not done them yet, but at least i'm getting there. I just have to write them all out now. Apart from that today was a pretty bad day. First of all i lost my watch! I can't even remember where i put it! Another down side to the day was that i didn't play outside! The sun was practically blazing down on cement like it wanted my skin to melt off. It was definitely karma getting my back for something i did! If i hadn't had my book to read i would've been so bored. By the time i stopped it was 7! At home all i did was shower and blog. And also read some more. I should go now i have to brush and what-not, and i'm tired. Oh yeah and I finished reading The Lost Symbol By Dan Brown!

T3Blog35

Today was strictly a day for homework. I woke up nice and late so i could be fully rested for what the day would bring me. While my friends played outside i was slaving away for hours on my homework. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into it. Okay, maybe the picture wasn't that brutal. Anyways, my day started out working on my science homework. I had to take notes on 13.1 and 13.2 plus i had to complete the entire Check Your Understanding questions. There were about 15 questions in each section! I can tell Miss Tang really wants us to understand what we're learning. I also started thinking about the Pre-IB. I sat on my couch for ten minutes, playing with a rubber band, just thinking about how the next year would be. Science was so long and dull that i took a bit of a brake and watched TV. Before i new it, it was 6. Where did the time fly off to? By 8 i finally started my math homework. It took a while....and by a while i mean a while. That's mainly because i was watching TV while doing my homework, that combination just doesn't work for me. I ended up stopping 2 questions away from being done at midnight! I told you TV and homework didn't mix. I wanted to wake up early to finish those 2 final questions before the soccer year end party started. So yeah my day was filled with procrastination as you can see. But my procrastination only goes so far because i end up finally doing the work the next day, or the next next day. I don't wait till i have to cram and stay up all night. That isn't me at all.

T3Blog34

Friday, finally. This week was also pretty busy, but it all payed off today. I made pancakes in from the foods recipie. It was my third lab this term last term i think. The pancakes were awesome. They were so soft and delicious, and sweet, and fluffy, and scrumptious, and yummy, and...and...good. I had about 5 and then i got pretty full. I remember that everyone in applied skills were pretty hungry. Ben, Mary, Natalie, Jian Vern, and Iris had the rest of my pancakes. During breakfast my creative-ness kicked in and i was having a lot of fun trying to make wierd shapes out of the pancake batter. I tried for micky mouse, but it didn't work out. I made a heart, a star, and a swirly thingy instead. A great way to relax....cooking....sigh... Cooking was the fun part of the day, the not-so-fun/not-looking-forward-to part of the day was the last few moments of it. I didn't want to work on my socials debate, but i have to practice looking people in the eye, i keep looking at the paper. Also If you didn't know what to say you looked really bad....saying ummm....also bad...I'll try my best, but there are no promises when i get nervous.

T3Blog33

Today i noticed that i had a lot of free time. I even got to go on facebook today! That's a miracle since i haven't been on facebook in a couple of months-maybe sine last year. The only homework i got today was for math. We have a science project- we must make up a game that helps us learn/review everything we learned in the unit. I'm in a group with wayne, yuchen, and shania. We have thought of a great variation to monopoly. We were having some trouble with what we were going to make the money, but i fixed that problem. Now we have to think of other things......Anyways, i was surprised when i came home. I only had math homework! I finished my math homework before 6 o'clock. I also went on facebook, researched some stuff about debate- for debate club since i had no idea what they were talking about because i came later on. I also made a google docs for the science game, they actually do help. If one person goes on even for a little bit everyone is updated when they go on. So convenient....... On top of all that stuff i also read, and i sort of got really into this drawing i was making. I started doodling in the inner cover of my agenda and made this wierd design. It inspired me and i have made a new type of block letter that actually looks nice when i draw it! I was thinking that maybe i could try to draw the cover the agenda this year. It's worth a try. And it will get the creative juices flowing. I don't normally have much time to randomly draw, i forgot how much fun it was. I then ate dinner- this is why my blog is written pretty late today. I started reading and lost track of time. My day wasn't a total waste of time. Now i'm going to brush and then sleep. BYe!

T3Blog32 Tired! But not becuase of homework

So yes, i am tired today, but this time the culprit isn't homework. I actually think i have a good grasp on my homework. Currently, I may be a bit behind on the projects i have to finish, but other I think i'm maintaining those grades of mine. I felt as though they were slipping when I came back from spring break. I guess i pulled it together. Anyways, today's tiredness was due to the fact that i had my first track meet today. After all the mental fatigue at school i got to rest the brain and concentrate on physical activity. Although physical activity also includes using the brain, but a different part of it (so i'm not blowing the circuits of one part of my brain while leaving the other part to melt away). I think this type of exertion is bad everyday though because my eyelids are drooping and i can barelly type this blog. At least with only mental exertion i can stay up all night only feeling a bit sleepy, but not actually fall asleep in class. On the other hand physical exertion is healthier than mental, it just seems better for you. hmm.... it seems as though i can't make up my mind in this mater. Oh well.

T3(Super4)Blog31 LIke walking through Jello

HI! So, so far this week i have been having very busy days. Today, in french we had Mrs. Greskiw as our substitute. I didn't really understand that because she isn't a french teacher at all (in fact she only made it up to grade 9 french). It's a good thing she gave us candy if we finished our work, or else i would never have finished. Bribery works. I wish it worked in math though. Today we had a quiz (a partner quiz) and i think i did well. Although i probably only did well because Sharon was my partner. I need to review all the questions before the math test on Thursday. Hopefully that won't be as hard. I also hope that the track meet tomorrow won't go on for too long because i need to study when i get home. As the day went on, I made my way to science. So far in science i think i'm passing (like 50% passing) because the two quizes we've had so far i had completely done horribly on. The quiz today was okay, but i should start studying for those random quizes that Ms. Tang said we wouldn't have....She said we'd only have one big test at the end. Gosh! The hours and a bit went by so slowly, by the time english started i was feeling really lazy. During our test i am sure i got many questions wrong, partly because i was away one of the days and didn't know what one answer was and also because i'm not very good at analyzing poems in half an hour. It's not my forte. You might be thinking why the title is "Like walking through jello" well, the day seems as though i've been walking through jello. In other words the day went by soooooo slowly! You know how jello is very jiggly and if you were small enough to walk through it, it would probably take a long time because it's so thick. Although if you could make bowl of jello big enough i'm sure you could walk through it when you were actual size. No one would try that though......sad. Although i was okay with the jelly of the day during track because i had a lot of fun today. I beat my length for Javelin, and practiced long jumping for a bit. I wasn't even that tired.....This is where i'd shout Hurray and run off into the distance. Anyways, when i finally got home at 5:30 i had some homework waiting for me. I continued writing my rebuttal for the debate, i did a sort of "masterpicece" poem for english, and i did about 10 flashcards and read a quarter of section 13 for science. I was going to study for math but there was no time. Now i'm going to salvage what's left of my reading time. Good Bye then!

T3Blog30- Speed blogging part 2

Hi! So here is another version of speed blogging. This time i'm trying to catch a TV show that i really don't want to miss. It's the new season and the last episode was sooo suspensful i shan't miss it! Not shan't, but can't! Anyways, today was a day 1. And 3 more days of school! Thank god for Easter Break. Ummm....what should i write. Well i'm right now i have a bunch of plump juicy strawberries in front of me. They are saying "Eat me, I'll taste goo." I really want to eat them.....Ohh i just remembered what happened today. In foods we had to take notes = BLAH! I don't like taking notes. Who takes notes in foods? Anyways, in PE we started our soccer unit. I loved it! In socials we finished our movie. Dr. Gabott was our sub for the class. I wasn't feeling that nervous about it, but i thought he'd at least talk to us about something before the movie started. It was just attendence then turn the screen on. It doesn't really matter... Umm....again writers block. Ohh yeah for applied skills. We did all our presentation. You saw them. I was doing Unicef. I mean who doesn't know about Unicef? Actually i guess we all have forgotten about it since halloween and trick of treating. If i had to choose between make a wish and UGM i would choose UGM. They help people that are in need. I mean make a wish is a food organization too, but many people donate to them anyway. Umm.......right so after school = track. After that i walked home in the cold weather. And after that .....Homework. Oh Gosh the time is late i missed 2 minutes of my schow....bye!

T3(super)Blog30 Busy bees don't know the meaning of work

I should be named the Busy Bee this week (kidding though...never say it aloud). I actually did a lot of homework today. And i don't mean the "doing homework in front of the tv" homework, i mean the "in your room with the door closed" homework. I was in my room for 3 hours, finishing off math, english, and social studies. I didn't get to science today, but i have accomplished much! While finishing off math homework i only had one troubling question (which was a ray of hope in the foggy abyss i am in during my math class). I'll probably ask either Mary or my cousin about it. I don't know who knows more, but one of them should know. It depends who i talk to first. For English i finally managed to finish that poem (not even well at that). I also finished a bunch of questions in a worksheet i didn't do because i was away. The socials questions were the only things i know i did well at finishing because there were only 3 questions and the answers were obvious. Today i also bought my new bike!!!! This reminds me i also finished reading Da Vinci Code.... How did i finish so much in one day? Well the fact that i got 6 hours of sleep today should explain much. For the other 18 hours of the day i was being a very productive person. Anyways, I have sighed for the last time today. Good-byE.

T3Blog29

Hello! So don't exactly know what i did today. I read a bit in the morning, actually a lot. I have decided to finally buckle down and finish the Da Vinci Code before the weekend is up. I hope this task isn't too great for me. Yeah so i read and then i ate and then i realized that it was too late to go to the store and get me a bike. You see I was promiced a bike on my 14th birthday and it's been six months and no bike. I didn't really care for the bike then, but now i actually need it. I want to ride it outside and maybe to school, helping save the environment one pedal at a time! Ignore the cheesy line please. Anyways at 5 i went to my soccer tryouts for the new season next year (not that i'm not getting in, it's basically to see new faces). I had loads of fun and exercise! After that i went to my aunt and uncles house. My uncle had been under the weather and we payed him a visit. When we came back i promised myself i would actually do something productive. So i wrote about half my sonnet for english class (it took an hour). Gosh....sonnets are hard. Iambic Pentameter is what really gets you. Unstressed and then stressed syllables are driving to the point of extinction. That last sentence made no sense at all, you see that's how hard Iambs are!

T3Blog28 Weeks over.

Finally this week is over!! I don't know why but i keep listening to the "Lean on me" song ever since we heard it in class. It's so addicting!! I can't get it out of my head, yet i still can't remember all the lyrics of the song. I think it's because i always used to sing the wrong lyrics (randomly making up lyrics of song as i went on) and now those lyrics are stuck in my head. Anyways, Friday was a day that ended pretty quickly. I'm glad i had nothing after school today because i played outside with my friend and we had a great time. I forgot how much fun it is playing outside. Well, i got some math homework today and i have a math quiz and test next week. I also have a sonnet, english test, and some sort of project due on Wednesday as well. There is some minor socials homework from yesturday that i should do, but won't until later. I also need to start with the socials debate, science project and notes and flashcards and other tiresome things, and finally applied skills... Busy days are coming ahead. Not just because homework, but because i have a busy track week next week too. A track practice on Monday and Tuesday, and then a meet on Wednesday. I still don't know how i'm getting to the meet. Gosh. Makes me want to sigh every few hours at the thought of it. Anyways, i'm cutting this blog short i need sleep.

T3Blog27 Early Bird

I know you must be surprised because i wrote this blog before 10pm! I'm pretty proud of myself because i'll get to sleep early today! One thing about today that i sort of regret is making such a big deal of Eugene pulling Karmyn's hair. I think i might have upset him.....I'll apologize tomorrow. I hope he isn't too mad at me. I don't think so, but who knows. Another thing I sort of regret is not going to track today. I decided to go to debate because i haven't gone in a while. Apparently some people got their jersey's, i guess i'll end up with the badly fitting one. Anyways, i guess this is a day to talk about regrets....Well i guess i regret that i got my locker in that darn locker alley. It's the worst place to have a locker. It's not so much the location, but the people surrounding the area. The MYer's are okay, but the other loud people who have screaming contests are starting to irritate my head. Any other regrets.... nope.....wait! I regret not being fully prepared for writing my socials essay a few weeks ago. Maybe I should move on to things i find i didn't regret, maybe even that i found very impressive. Hmm.... actually maybe next time a good TV show is coming that i don't want to miss. Bye!

T3Blog26 Tired, Bored, and Hungry

Wednesday, tell me again why i used to like it? Or maybe that was Thursday......i'm suffering from memory problems. It's because i'm tired, i can't think straight. I came home and was in no mood to do anything. I basically slept for an hour and then went outside to take my dog for a walk and play with my friend, but you don't want to know any of that. I didn't get to homework until after 8 so i ended up only finishing my english homework. At least somethings done.... We have a few projects that i should get started on. Socials-- Debate. Science--- Online Poster project. French --- Fashion unit (project will eventually come). Umm....and we always have something for applied skills. So yeah. I also had math homework which i only got 3/4 done. On top of all of that i have french stuff to study for, which won't be studied until a week before the test. Ahh the life if MY, how it is getting so old. I realized that maybe i should write my blogs a little bit earlier. Now i think of it, 3 months before my blogging will end. Anyways, for science i want to get bonus marks so i will attempt to finish a lot of notes and flashcards. Wish me luck. It's actually the best way to study so i guess i won't be studying! During english we explored the wonderful world of sonnets. Yayyyy......(being sarcastic). Actually it wasn't that bad, i was just so tired from the past 6 hours i didn't get to enjoy it as much. Tomorrow i have either track or debate after school and i don't know which to go to. I think debate will win because i haven't gone to it in a while. Anyways i must go. Another one of those "sleep" excuses.

T3Blog25 Famished....

Gosh, today was tiring. I had PE, track, and then volunteering right after track. By the time i got home i just wanted to go to sleep. That's didn't happen though because my mom wanted me to eat dinner and then american idol came on so now i'm tired and sleepy and writing this blog. By the way, since we're done with the movie can we move back to our old seating plan??? By old seating plan i mean NO Seating PLAN. It's just how it's supposed to be. There is no other way Middle Years can function. It goes against all that "Synergy" stands for. Anyways, another happy thing for today-- Carbon Challenge is almost over! I'm not happy that it's ending, just that I don't have to make another graph.... I get shivers whenever i think about it. In the meeting today we were talking about who might have won and everyone suddenly looked at me.... i blurted out grade 11 because i didn't know what to say. It ended up being grade 9! We rock.... Yeah so that was great. During PE we did our very last orienteering class and before that in foods, we had a substitute. So i guess today was a pretty good day all around except for the whole being tired part. If all days were like this i wouldn't live to see the sunrise (the next day). Of course i am over exaggerating......in case you take it the wrong way..... Yup so see yea tomorrow then.

T3Blog24 Good Monday

GoodNight! .... I'm not saying good-bye, but there isn't really any other way to greet someone in the night now is there? Anyways, i only went to two classes today because i had a doctors appointment. The last two blocks, english and science, were missed. I got to Ms. Ojolic, but i didn't find ms. Tang so i can't really hand in my note yet. Actually Ms. Ojolic didn't really need a note, so i only have to get it signed by Ms. Tang. I don't think i missed much because apparently the only homework in english is what was due today (because everyone got the criteria wrong) and in science the booklet isn't due until later. Anyways, the first two blocks of school were good. French test first thing in the morning wasn't pleasant, i think i did well though. Enough for that A i'm maintaining. After the 80 minutes long french test, i had math. We moved on to more enriched things, but i got an hour long session with my mom that cleared pretty much everything up. I think i won't fail math this time. Everything seems to be under control now. I think that's a good sign. Maybe i just don't have as much homework though. Anyways, after school i finished my math homework (one of the few times i finish it the day it was assigned), i also worked on the socials debate, and did half of 12. 4 CYU. Now i think i'm going to sleep early or maybe read before i sleep. I like this Monday......

t3Blog23 Pondering.

Hello! So today i've been pondering. Yes, pondering many things. Actually it's mostly about my future. I was talking to one of my friends who completely detests middle years, pre-IB, IB and basically anything that includes smart people....he has a stereotype for us people. He thinks that people in IB and MY think they are better than people in the normal program and that they only go into these programs to show how smart they are to people. I told him he's got it completely wrong, but he's stubborn and won't change his opinion. At least he doesn't think that about me. Anyways, what he was saying got me thinking about my future in Pre-IB and eventually IB. I don't want it to be "torture" according to him. I really doubt it'll be i mean my cousin survived didn't she? I'm not having seconds doubts, but i'm just pondering about what i've gotten myself into. I'm still going through with it, but in the end will it make a difference. Well I guess it will, but again is it worth it? My cousin told me that they say right in the beginning that you can live without sleep so don't go complaining to them that your not getting enough. Scary things for a ninth grader to hear......Anyways, i must go i want to get all the sleep i can before it ends.

T3Blog22 Sleep

Guess what time i woke up? 1:30!!!!! I know it was soooooo late, but what can i say i am a late sleeper. That goes both ways, in the morning and at night. Anyways, this day was good, did some science homework and basically didn't have time for anything else. Actually it wasn't that i had no time for anything else, but it was more that i was lazy and didn't want to finish anything else. After managing to finish my 12.4 CYU my family and I went to my cousins house for a little visit. We haven't gone to their house in a while. It was also fun......what else can i say? Umm......Yeah so anyways i'll go now.

T3(supero3)Blog21 Strike!

Hello! So i am so glad this week is over. When the final bell rang i was ecstatic because i didn't have to do anymore homework! Yayyyy....So anyways, today in foods we watched this video about sugar. Then we took notes and then we talked for the rest of the time. PE was okay.... table tennis all class long! At least we didn't have to run around this time. I think next class we have to run all class long though.....there's always a catch. In socials we went to the mac lab! It was so much fun. We have another debate to practice and make a speech for. I hope my group wins, but who knows what the outcome will be. Anyways, we haven't really gotten many points yet but i'm hoping.....Yup so after that was applied skills. Okay so the whole seating plan worked with the noise and we are paying much more attention in class, but i still don't like it. The movie is okay and the questions i can handle, but the seating plan!!! It's driving me to the extent of........boredom. Not really something i want to experience during applied skills......the one subject i like.

Let us have our freedom!!!! Let us have our own seats!!!!! This isn't synergy, this is dictatorship!!!

T3Blog20 Vow Of Silence

Since it was the vow of Silence i am writing Thursday's blog today (Friday). Yesterday, I was lazy after school because i was tired after track practice. It's the first one i've been to and It was brutal. Anyways, in english we learned about diction, imagery, and basically analyzing poems. We have to write a pastoral poem for homework. I've already finished! I finished it yesterday while watching TV. My poem is about this person who is dead (it's actually not that sad of a poem) and looking back at their life and how fun it is. Later on they start missing their life and in the end they end up thinking about all the things they did and didn't get to do. Anyways, that's done and out of the way so now i can focus on other things. We got our marks in science and I'm getting 85.8 i hope Ms. Tang bumps me up to an A. Hopefully...... It's sooooo close! We took more notes and watched more videos in science. I'm hoping that science project we have counts for a lot so that even if i do get a B i can get good marks on the project and get bumped up for term three. Math was confusing. We started the enriched part of the enriched 9 math class...... I gotta tell you i didn't understand anything at all. I'll need to spend a few hours getting the concept down. We have homework too so that should be good practice. During the last class of the day we got our marks and reviewed the whole chapter for the test on Monday. So far my marks for day 2 are 90%- French, 79% Math, you already know science, and 90 something in English. Pretty good for the second report card. Anyways i must go.... bye!

T3Blog18

Another nameless blog... Anyways, in french we ended our very long- 1 term long in fact- chapter. On Monday we're going to have a huge chapter test and I'm studying all this week to prepare for that.....at least i hope I do or else I'm in trouble. In Math we had math homework, but i didn't get to finish all of it, it's a good thing we have next class to finish it off as well because apparently we're a section ahead of the other class. Math was one of the only things i actually studied during break. I think i understand the chapter so far. Hopefully it doesn't get any harder than what it's like right now. Anyways, after math i had a filling lunch and then during science we watched two very dull videos. They were basically reviews of what we learned in applied skills first term. So anyways, Ms. Tang tells us that we have a science project about our current unit so that should be fun. Gosh i just want the term to end! Anyways, english was fun, We got to write our own poems as well as fill in a bunch of worksheets. The worksheets we somewhat of a pain, but I didn't really mind. I like poetry. Anyways, i didn't sleep again after school, but i didn't start any homework until 9 so i think that makes up for the lack of sleep. Anyways, i must go i'm going to be sleeping earlier today!! Yayyy!

T3Blog17

Hi Mr.Olson. I noticed i usually don't address you in my blogs.....don't know why. So anyways, today there was a demo in foods and we took some notes and basically that's it..... PE = Orienteering. NOpe it hasn't ended yet. I'm getting pretty tired of it, i don't like running around and getting all muddy because of the mud. Ping Pong gets pretty boring after a while too. Not the best sport in the world. In socials we did our presentations and i think i did well. Except for the whole presenting part....i should've looked up more.....Anyways, we also watched the starting to this story about this guy whole gets sent to jail for 19 years for stealing a piece of bread and how this bishop or priest does something nice for him when he is finally out of prison. We only watched eleven minutes though, and we're probably not going to finish it ( i hope though). Finally in applied skills we watched a movie. I really wanted to watch that movie, i just forgot the title of the movie. Umm.....Oooh right the Shining! The movie we watched today was okay, but after a while all that knowledge they try to fill our brains with isn't going to sink in. I was interested at first, but it's the same concept repeated over and over. We are connected to music, We get it! Gosh, the movie/ educational film would have been better if they moved on about other aspects of science and music. I guess we'll have to watch this movie before the shining because you'll want us to listen to the music they use in the movie, or maybe there is no music and that makes it all the more scarier. I have no idea i actually haven't watched the movie yet. After school i slept for an hour, it was a nice nap. Then i did homework and here i am. K bye
Wayyyy passed my bedtime.....(kidding i don't actually have one).

T3Blog16 Late Nighter, But THEY e-mailed back!

Hello. I"ll tell you who THEY is later on in the blog. Today i woke up nice and late, trying to make the most of my last day. After a slow morning breakfast, my mom and I went to downtown. Again i was making the most of my last day. We bought some clothes, the usual. When we came back i did nothing for a few hours and then suddenly it was 9 o'clock and i still had to type out my socials speech thingy. So i set to work typing away and when i finished i was tired. BUT i still had to write this blog. It's a good thing i decided not to skip the blog and write it tomorrow because if i hadn't checked my gmail today i wouldn't have found out that the people i had e-mailed at the orphanage in Nepal e-mailed back! I was so happy.....if only you'd seen my face. Anyways, they thanked me for wanting to donate (hand made) hats and gave me there address. Now all i have to do is send them over. I hope the kids over there like the hats.......if they don't i will be quite disappointed. Maybe i'll even send some scarves over.....you know it get's pretty cold in Nepal, especially the places that are at higher altitudes. Anyways, i was happy. I showed my mom and she was happy......We're all happy.....now before i go giddy with joy i'll end this blog....i need to brush.

T3Blog15 2 day's left

Hi......i don't want the break to end!!! Wahhh.......Today i woke up extremely late, i also watched a lot of TV. My day basically started after i went around Langara with my cousin. I came back at around 5 (because we left at 4:30) and then i finished my bibliography for the socials project. I'm glad the bibliographies out of the way. After that my friend invited my to her house to watch "Where the Wild things Are" I thought the movie could have been better. I mean i think they could have explained the story more. It was a guess throughout the whole thing. If you haven't watched it i won't spoil it for you, but i don't think it's worth renting. When i came back i wanted to finish off some more homework, but it didn't happen. I still have science homework i could be doing. I also have a french test, but that's the second week back. I plan on studying all next week for it. Today there was also a time change. Or maybe it's going to be tomorrow. I don't know when, but i know it's this weekend. So now i have to wake up an hour earlier before going to school.....doesn't that suck.

T3(Super2)Blog14 Hat Donations Abroad.

Gello again! .....Opp's i mean Hello again. So today i did a lot of work. It's Friday today and as you know the week is almost over!!.....ooooh nooo......Anyways, i did a lot of work today. I did a bit of math review and started on my bibliography for my socials project and most importantly I created my hat gift things which i'm going to send to an orphanage somewhere in the world. I decided to send them to an orphanage in Nepal. It gets pretty cold in Nepal and it's also a pretty poor place, they probably don't have recreational stuff. Anyways, I did some research and sent an e-mail to the orphanage, i hope they e-mail back! Actually i not only hope they e-mail back because i want them to know i gave them the hats, but also because i need their address..... Anyways, i told my mom and now she's all excited about it, i think i might slip in a few of my brothers teddy bears.....Do they have teddy bears there? Well if they had a website they must have a computer.....so ......hmm... i have no idea. Anyways, i've got a lot of planning to do to mail the package......

T3Blog13 Singing in the Rain.

We all woke up at 12 today! My brother and I stayed at my cousins house until about 6pm. The only thing we did at her house today was walk outside in the rain. It's one of those memories that you'll forget when you grow up, but it was a fun time. By the end of the walk it was pouring outside and we were drenched through out jackets. After eating and drinking english tea at my cousins house we finally went home. At home i watched a few Indian Comedy shows, ate dinner, and waited for time to go by. Now i wish i had started this blog earlier. I still need to brush! Kk. Bye then.

T3Blog12 Nothingness is gone

I didn't not do nothing today! If that means....i did something....then i did something.

First thing in the morning i woke up at 8 and worked on English again. After eating breakfast and waking my brother up i called my cousin and we all walked around Langara. DJ (my dog) came along as well. He wasn't tired at all after it. After the run, i finished most of my socials project, i just need to print it out and practice speaking (which probably won't happen). After almost finish socials I ate dinner then packed my things to go to a sleep over to my cousins house. We (including my brother) stayed up till 3 in the morning watching a movie. It was a really bad movie, we watched it because we wanted to make fun of it. It's one of those weird things i do. Anyways, even though a did many things today this blog has been one of the shortest of the week. Hmmm....quite bizarre.

T3Blog11 Dentist

Hello! I"m alive! I mean i'm awake, not like my last few blogs. If you noticed i wrote those at around midnight. Although today i'm writing on midnight too, but i'm awake today. There is a big difference. So anyways, dentist wasn't that big of a deal. I thought there would be a huge appointment, but it was only 15 minutes long. The dentist basically kept reminding how expensive the braces were and how i should not waste money and always wear my retainers. I do wear them quite often, just not always. So anyways, after that i went home and did some english homework ---i was so proud of myself----. I also ended up finishing 2 sections of notes for science (12.1 and 12.2). They were the longest sections ever. It took me longer than usual or maybe it felt longer because i'm still in my spring break mode. My brain doesn't work as fast. After science i watched more TV and here i am! ...... Okay my brother wants me to play with him so i must go.

T3Blog10 Laziness has come (spring break day 3)

So your probably getting pretty bored by reading this but......I didn't do much today either.

Woke up late yet again. This time i stayed in bed for about an hour just listening to my brother watch TV. Well i actually listened to the TV while my brother watched it.

After the ordinary morning routines i was back on the couch watching TV. I have missed TV during these past few weeks. It's been a missing piece in my life, just like the cell phone. Anyways, after the few hours of TV i went to the store with my mom and we bought groceries. Then we came home and i was back on the couch. It was a very fun day filled with gaps of boredome when there was nothing coming on TV. Anyways i should go now i'm going to wake up early tomorrow! I know shocker right? It's because i have to not because i want to. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning at 9.

So early.....

T3Blog09 Nothingness X 2

So i think it'll be easier to guess what i did today....

Yes that's right! Nothing!

Woke up at 12 again. And according to my brother i brushed before him....but that knowledge you didn't need to know. I have nothing else to say!!!!

Hmm......I guess spring break isn't going so well since i haven't even glanced at my homework yet. I'll probably leave it till the last possible moment. And stay up till 12 on Sunday night.

I'm glad i have my new cell phone though! Feels like that missing part of me has come back. Lol. The puzzle is complete.

I think it's last enough to go to sleep now.....bye!

Thursday, March 11, 2010

T3Blog08 spring break begins.

Guess what i did today? It's not hard........

Yup that's right i did nothing. Absolutely nothing!

Slept in till 12.

Watched A LOT of TV.

It lost it's boredom when i went to my brothers soccer class/practice.
He's not actually part of a team, but they don't exactly learn soccer either.....I don't know what to call it. So i ended up semi-coaching the kids today. There was one girl that just wouldn't stop talking......She didn't listen to me....so i taught her a lesson....MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!!!
Kidding.....I just put in defense (she doesn't like defense). After his soccer i finally got a new phone! My phone is currently getting repaired by some stranger that i haven't seen. I hope he washed his hands........Or maybe he is a she.......in that case i'm not worried. NO Offence...

Anyways, i'm going now. Need to catch up on some TV.

T3Blog07

No title today. I don't want to write any, just happy that it's finally spring break. Yaaay!! I didn't want today to be a hard day with homework for spring break, but it didn't turn out that way. The first thing that was suggested to do was study. Suggested because you can't make a student study, but if it's for a big unit french test then i guess most people will study. Math was even worse. We actually got homework! ..... Homework that we had to finish. I managed to finish it though!!! Skipping a few questions along the way. I'm planning on studying for math during the break because it'll probably help my grade. Then during science, well do i really need to explain my homework here? I mean obviously we got homework and obviously it was a lot. 12.1-12.4 notes + CYU + Flashcards up till then. And 6 worksheets. Why? I have no idea. Anyways, then last period; english. I handed in the poem that was due and then we were assigned a new assignment which is due on Monday night first day we come back. Although this may not seem like much it is a lot of stuff when you add it all together. Not to mention i still have to donate my hats and finish that socials project. Gosh! At least one thing was good about today...... DUN DUN DUN

I got into Pre-IB!!!@! yaaaaayyyyyy

T3Blog06 Disappointed.

So today i got a ride from my mom to school. I wasn't late today. Before i went to my locker i went to look at the soccer team postings.....i didn't make it. It's so sad. Some of my friends didn't make it either.....but i really did want to be on the team. So sad......I guess today i was sort of sulking in the tragic news. In foods we had a short test that i know i didn't do well in. By "didn't do well" I mean i got a B. Most probably. PE was okay. I almost got lost during orienteering, but in tennis i had fun. I'm not that bad in tennis. Social Studies was a working class. We made yet another web this time about the industrial revolution. We ended class off on a good note though, Pictionary! I think that was the game......Anyways, the guys ended up winning, but it was still a great way to end a class. Now on the Applied skills. Gosh, i guess the only thing i can say is that i got a long way on my new hat. I finished it today in fact and i started another one. I have decided to donate my hats to an Orphanage. I just don't know of any local orphanages. I'll probably have to look online. Hope there's one in Vancouver or else i'll have to mail the hats. What's the fun in that? Unless i get a thank-you letter back.....that would be nice.....Anyways, i must go...i need to brush my teeth.
