T3Blog62 Speedy Sloth

Hello. I'm getting pretty busy lately. I've also been pretty lazy.....yet not lazy at the same time. Maybe it's bad scheduling on my part. There has been a huge build -up on homework i have yet to finish. Don't get me started on science and English isn't being any better, although after today English shouldn't be too much of a problem other than the test. I plan on studying a lot for that. I had a math test today and i know for sure that i got 2 questions wrong.....maybe even 3. There were only 7 questions, but i'm sure each question is worth at least 4 points. On top of science, english, and math I have french to review. It seems during third term the teacher gets down to the real stuff. It seems as though what we've been learning throughout the year has been nothing but a review until third term. This is when the school year really begins. We have a listening quiz today, i'm pretty sure i did well on that. In english we went over terms for the test and then had time to practice the scene we have. The scenes aren't going to be presented until May. 11 so our group still has another week (thank god). After school today i went to Winnie's house to work on English. I also had track today, but nobody else was available any other day so i had to skip today. Mr. Mcgillveroy wasn't too happy.... He gave me this big lecture, sent me on a guilt trip. I wouldn't have skipped if it wasn't extremely important (we really do have a lot to do for English). What's done is done now, I'm obviously going to come to eliminations on Wednesday next week. Well now i must finish reading this book i have for a book test tomorrow.

T3Blog61 Memories

Today i remembered that video we watched in applied skills, it was pretty keen. Yes, keen. Whoever thought of that idea, to protest by not protesting, they are very keen. I thought the video was also witty. Everyone knew they were protesting, even the police, but they weren't able to do anything about it because it wasn't actually protesting. They still got in trouble, but the reaction from the crowd was enough to tell the people who wanted them out that the message had crossed. Anyways, three word to some it all up, Keen, Witty, Inspired. PE was awesome. I wore my track jersey. We played while some new songs were playing in the background. So anyways, obviously no homework there. And then there was foods. We baked nothing. I remember that jelly roll lab. The Jelly Rolls didn't turn out well. I didn't even eat mine, it had an after taste of egg. After school i only studied for math. That is all. I really want to get a good mark on the Test. I think next year, in grade 10, i'll take normal math because i don't want it affecting my possible enrolment in IB. Wow this blog was short. A good rest for your eyes i guess.

T3Blog60 NO snow.

So today was a really random day. I woke up and felt sort of horrible.....I think i was sick. WAS sick because after a few hours i felt better. Maybe it was morning sickness......if that happens to regular ppl.........Although it wasn't really morning since i woke up at 7:30. Maybe that's why i felt sick. Anyways, during that stage of head aches and coughing, i went on the computer and started playing around with some pictures i took. I was completely messing around with them, it's a lot of fun. Maybe next year for my elective i'll take photography. That would be fun......When my hours of sickness passed i was pretty bored. I started looking out the window hoping it would snow. I know that hope is sort of short lived because first of all it was sunny outside and i checked the weather so ......no snow! That's a real relief.

T3(super blog)Blog59 Shakespeares Followes

We are Shakespeare's followers. All day i was reciting the words written by the great poet himself, William Shakespeare. During Social Studies, after i lengthy quiz, when we had free time everyone was reciting their lines. I, being Helena, have the most lines and therefore need to be more dramatic for people to listen to me. And for that I am a Shakespeare follower. In applied skills all that came out of our mouths (other than those overly rehearsed sort of getting old songs) were the lines written a couple hundred years ago. And for that we are all Shakespeare's followers. To be or not to be is not the question, to recite or not to recite is. If it was to be or not to be we would be quite depressed. And for that we are Shakespeare's followers. During foods, we took a short break from our many spoken word because there was need for a break. We couldn't talk anyways because we had a test and because we had notes (quite awe-full) to take. For that we aren't Shakespeare's followers. However, during PE we went back to our old habits. Back to the way of Shakespeare. We stopped when it started to hail (you can't keep it up all day). Then after school 4 dedicated souls (Ben, Natalie, Winnie, and I) rehearsed our act two more times. Having finally embedded the sacred phrases in our minds. And for that we are Shakespeare's followers.

T3Blog58 Got a lot done

Hello! Do you like the change in font? Hmm....I think it makes the blog look more alive. it also makes the blog look smaller. But today's blog isn't going to be big so you don't have to worry about that. Like yesterday i slept and ate and watched TV, but i also went to my brothers soccer thingy (maybe it runs in the family). At his soccer thingy....his coach asked me if i wanted to assist in coaching him in his classes. I think i will, i mean i don't have anything else to do on Saturday's. After my brothers class i bought new cleats (for soccer) because mine were on the verge of ripping. These new cleats seem promising, but i still think the other ones were "lucky" in a way. Anyways, after that my brother, dad, and I went to pick my mom up from work and then we finally came home again! At home i finished all my math homework.....with some difficulty, but i finished it! So today was very productive. Hmmm....although i still have to get a new cell phone, but that's for later. Anyways I've got nothing else to say except.....BYE till tomorrow.

T3blog57 Moody

I'm in no mood to blog today. I just want to get it over with. When i came back home after school....i was tired. I had to walk home with two textbooks.....not very good on my back. I couldn't begin to think about homework or Pre-IB or whatever.....i just slumped down on my couch and rested. Rested in this case is watching TV for a few hours. I did get a bit of work done near the end of the day, i almost finished my math homework and i knitted some more of my checkered hat. I hope someone in the world likes an orange and green checkered hat because that's what i'm making. The checkering method turned out greath so far. No complaints. During school we got some english homework (finish the book, answer questions, and finish the reading circle write-ups). In science i didn't get any homework! Well....if you count taking notes for chapter 10 homework...then i guess i did, but other than that. In math i got homework-as always- but at least i finished it today. French......yaayyyy no homework. And i even liked the substitute today. She was even better than the last. If we could rate substitutes that would be awesome (they would always have to stay on gaurd). Anyways, i am tired. Have a nice weekend. Bye!

T3Blog56 Busy

There was so much that needed to be done today! After school Natalie, Ben, Winnie and I worked on the English project we have. We didn't get very far because it took so long to make the background. So we're going to have to meet one more time to put all the stars on our awesome 3D model of the Night Sky. I should probably rewind to when i went to school and tell you about my day. Um...well. French was first, and we played a game and reviewed our homework. I did my french homework while i ate breakfast this morning, but it was alright because Ms. Ziakos still thought i did a good job. In math we got a review for our unit test coming up....I really doubt, in fact i know i won't do well in it. I plan on studying for it this next week- maybe not over the weekend though. Anyways, in science I think we had a quiz today, but i can't seem to recall if that was last class or today. Finally there was english. We basically learned more about the midsummer night's dream. I should get my sleep now, bye!

T3Blog55 random

Friday!!!! I'm so glad there was no school....In the morning i woke up at 8 thinking i had school because my dad kept trying to wake me up. I fell asleep again and woke up at 10 after that. After i woke up i ate breakfast and watched some Tv. I basically watched TV all day long.....Well i also made a graph for science fair and went online. Gosh, science fair seems to be coming so fast. I don't want to leave it till the last possible minute, but it seems to be going in that direction. I'm sure Shania and I will do fine. Other than the graph i didn't do anything educational today. I was going to, but then i didn't. Yup....so that was my day. That was literally all i did.

T3blog54 SunSHine

Okay so the day started out fine....happy and fun. I watched a soccer game and it was sunny throughout the whole thing. It was so much fun running through the grass under the sun. We tied our soccer game by the way. So yeah anytime before 7 i was happy. I finished all my math homework and went to my grandparents house. I ate really sugary cookies too! Anyways after 7 when i went on the computer i realized i had a lot of stuff to work on for Science. There were many things to make and i still haven't finish them all. I'm definitely sleeping after school tomorrow. Need that sleep back!! Anyways i just have to brush and finish off the last of the flashcards and I'm basically done. I'm going to go....need to finish.

T3Blog52 tired

i knew we had to write something about the that song i just didn't know what the topic was. Now that i know i guess i'll just write about it in today's blog. First of all i'd like to say that Bob Marley's songs all seem to have a huge message to them. Or maybe it was just the ones used to the playing for change music videos. This song is about equality. In one verse he says that there will always be war if we still have a lower class and are racial. He also says that war is not the solution.....when he says "killing the country, for no reason". He also refers to the conflicts in Africa. The more you look at it the more messages you find. And the fact that the music video was made by different people around the world, different ethnicities and econimis status's, sort of makes the song have more meaning. The people in the music video aren't being racist or discriminated by their wealth. That's definately not a coincident. I've got a feeling we're going to be listenning to one of the next video's maybe...."Don't Worry". Anyways, today i got some math homework. I didn't get to finish that math homework, but i understood math so that's better than finishing it and not understanding. I studied a lot today for the math test on Wednesday. I also read over some science notes for the science test on Friday. Since i slept a bit late yesturday i slept for 2 hours after school today. When i woke up it was 9 and i couldn't believe i'd actually fallen asleep. Now i'm very wide awake..........

T3Blog51 Sean's Pro-D

Sean condraticted himself today. He claimed he had a "Brain Cramp", but he in fact did not do any work today, or any that we told me. He was supossed to meet Jian Vern and Kevin for a project (i'm guessing english), but Kevin and Jian Vern were too lazy. So again, i guess today is a slacking day. Hmm.....I wonder how late he's going to stay up tomorrow. I should ask him. Although we don't have any homework tomorrow.

T3Blog50 Sean's Sunday

So today Sean actually did something! Well i guess he needed to do something after slacking for two days. So Sean, Rachel, Yomi, Lucien, William, and Iris met up to practice for the Busker fest today. They practiced for hours and hours on the song they were going to do. This whole thing by the way is probably being run by Yomi because i hear she's like the group "leader." Anyways after all that practicing Sean's hand died......or got really cramped. Good thing tomorrow is a Pro-D day because he'll probably not be able to write tomorrow.

T3Blog49 Sean's Saturday

Apparently i'm supposed to write about nothing today. Do you know why? Cause Sean told me he did NOTHING, absolutely nothing today. I'm guessing it was a mash between TV, sleeping, and staring into space. But then again i don't know Sean's definition of nothing. So you can fill in the blanks today......i guess no homework was done.

T3(super)Blog48= Sean's first blog.

I can't act like sean when i talk so i won't be talking in the first person. Today Sean's day was boring. He went to the recognition assembly and from what i know got recognized for getting straight A's and Honor Roll. Yayyyy good for him. Anyways during the assembly he was getting teased by Cory and Aaron for who knows what... he mentioned it so i'm writing it in. But don't think much of it. Anyways, in applied skills he claimed he was bored. Here's a quote, "I'm bored." It seemed like such a busy day for him.

T3Blog43 Homework, Homework

I know i shouldn't have left all this homework till Saturday and Sunday, but what could i do? I needed my sleep. I shouldn't make excuses though. It's all my fault!!!!!!!!! I'm not actually that upset though. Anyways, yes, i left everything till today. I decided-a very bad decision on my part-to do my homework in front of the TV. Not good. I would start shaking my finger at myself saying "Tisk Tisk, when will you learn" if i weren't so busy writing this blog. I realized that watching TV slows down the person doing homework by .....well.....a lot! Maybe i'll do a science fair project on that. Who knows. Anyways the observation of myself doing that would be "write about half a line on the paper, then watch ten minutes of TV. Return back to the paper. Watch TV. During adds quickly finish half the homework assigned-if possible. Then move on to other homework". In this case there was no other homework to finish (because math was very miniscule) other than science. All those Chapter reviews.......notes......flashcards.......shivers down my spine. Watching TV is good, when your doing science home all day. Although i managed to finish a lot, in 12 hours time! And that was my very boring day! opp's i just dropped my cell phone.......

T3Blog42 Happy Vasakhi!

So today was Vasakhi! Or as one of my friends calls it the "Indian Parade" ........ wke up pretty erly today, i guess it was for the excitement of the event. My friend and I left at 11 and celebrated and ate and walked to fraser and back. It's the only time of the year when i can go so far away from home alone with a friend without my parents knowing where i am. I mean who is going to kidnap a kid on Vasakhi? Anyways, when i came back home i hung out with my friends until around 6 o'clock. After they finally left i started doing english and science homework. Shania and I finally completed our science poster. We alternated working on it. At one point she was working on it while i was completing english questions and at one point i was working on it while she was doing something else.....We edited together after the information was on the poster and now we've finished it! All we have to do now is make a Bibliography for all the citations. I didn't realize how long making a science poster would take, but we said our good-byes at around midnight so it took quite a while. Anyways, i must go i need my sleep. Bye.

T3Blog41 Long Day

So today started out fine. I went to science, where we had many voting quiz's. Half the class was gone because there was a math contest, so Ms. Tang decided not to have those two real quiz's. For science we have loads of homework. I still have to finish my chapter reviews and 18 more flashcards. I also must study. During english we went over the english homework (i did really well) and then we started reading the play again. I find reading Shakespeare out loud is way more fun. You can be all dramatic and spontaneous. Anyways, after english i forgot that we had three periods before lunch so i hurried to french and forgot to switch binders. It normally isn't a problem because i have most of my homework in my french "folder" which i take home instead of the binder. I wasn't lucky today though. Ms. Ziakos was checking our homework and I had the homework which was meant for HOME, but she was also checking the class work we completed last time. Guess what, i left that in my binder. So i only got to show her half my homework and only got 5 out of 10 on the homework check.. So sad. I even asked if i could go to my locker, but she said "Too bad." I didn't know she was that strict with homework......Next time i'm not forgetting to change binders. Anyways, after that unfortunate misfortune i let it go and then trudged off the math. We have a student teacher so the learning is going pretty slow, just how i like it! After school was track which was fun. I think i came in second for triple jump! Happy.......

T3Blog40 Thurday= Block Change

I don't know how to sum up the day, good? Bad? A bundle full of homework? I had track after school today so i basically missed all the lazy time i spend between 4 and 6. That sucks. I had some french and English homework, but that was the least of my worries.... In math we were assigned this probability question, it has something to do with the probability of how many times a thumtack will land on its flat side. I don't have a thumtack though...... So i have just noticed that my blogs will be Shorter than usual That's probably because i don't remember what happened to me a couple of hours ago. We are pretty loud in our classes ( MY classes). Especially since Mr. Marting asigned us a debate project. I think the debate project has been the best project of the year though. Anyways after school i wanted to relax before starting any homework, or doing any at all, but i had to go to track. While i was walking back i noticed the sunset, pretty spectacular! All those colors...you just want to keep looking at them...Until the day ends....then I realized I had homework to finish...

T3(super)Blog39 Love this week so far.

Welcome, thy mentor of philanthropy. Has thou had a splendid 24 hours? My day, like night, hath been most comical. When the sun, low in the sky, i arose. From peaceful slumber and fantastical, vision in the comforting dark of night. Clean thy teeth, comb thy hair, and eat thy food. In this morning of fair weather in light. Winds don'testh blow harsh in a day like this. As i treaded the grey path to thy place. Of learning and sociable altitude. I know not the meaning of the last word. Yet, I still strut to class like all others. Speaking thy language is enjoyable. Yea, cannot take away the excitement. When speak'th the language of foreign people. The language foreign is far more easy. Than the numbers in my jumbl-ed head. New, teacher can't changed my situation. Though my condition in certain science. Has seen the light of day I do not yet. Obtain the stature i truly deserve. For, my work hath been lazy-fied lately. Soon, nor A, nor B will be in my grasp. I must alter my ways of knowledge gain. Thy confused speech keeps me from standing up. Yet, if you read'th loud enough you will. Enjoy the pleasant tunes i once spoke out. While writing this blog for they teachers eyes. English hath taught me well, yet i hath much. Still to learn, don't mock walk i lack in word! I will and can still turn and learn to walk. Now i must rest, brush, and lay'th thy head. Down on downy soft pillow made for sleep.

T3Blog38 Fun Stuff

So today was pretty fun. In Foods we got a lot of free time to talk and what not. Our conversation varied from marriage to Pre-IB. Although i don't know how we started at marriage. WHo knows. In PE i also had much fun. Playing soccer = good times well spent. Even lunch was pretty fun. During social studies we had our debate today. I think it was basically a tie, but my group did pretty good considering the circumstances (we didn't prepare well). Actually both teams sort of ran out of time at the end. I was trying to stretch for time in my very last speech because the stuff written in my rebuttal speech was supposed to be already said by my partners but it wasn't and you can't add any new information in the last speech. So i don't know how well i did there.....but over all it was a very lively debate. There was much shouting and laughing and clapping and interrupting. During Jian Vern and Allens part i kept telling them to get on with the speech, but they didn't and in the end they ran out of time to say all their points. It was so funny watching them rush through the whole thing in 15 seconds. Anyways, as i said before.....it looked like a tie. At least that's what most people wrote (i hope!). Finally to end the day we sang. I think that was a good way to end it, but my mought got dry after a while. Needed more water. After that i went to track. Worked on Javelin, long jump and then walked home. Then went to volunteering and had fun there too, and then finally came home and watched some TV while making science flashcards. Anyways, i'm gonna brush now.......c ya.

T3Blog37

Monday!!! yaaaayyyy......I was bored this whole day. Except for when i worked on the science project and socials debate. Allen is sort of confused about what to do and i don't like it.......i mean debate is tomorrow and now he's asking what speaker he is? Anyways, the science poster is what i'm really worried about. Actually it's mostly the bibliography.....because we only have two sources cited and we need atleast 10. I think Shania and I can do it, but i don't want to.....i really don't!! Citing is so horribly brutal. It's like torture for the average teen. At least that's what i think of it. Anyways i must go now......BYe!

T3(super)Blog36 Bookworm.

It's Sunday!I had the best sleep i've ever had today! For some reason i felt like it was a really important day, even though it wasn't. Before the breakfast i worked on my french (just a bit of review) and science flashcards. I can't believe i'm not done them yet, but at least i'm getting there. I just have to write them all out now. Apart from that today was a pretty bad day. First of all i lost my watch! I can't even remember where i put it! Another down side to the day was that i didn't play outside! The sun was practically blazing down on cement like it wanted my skin to melt off. It was definitely karma getting my back for something i did! If i hadn't had my book to read i would've been so bored. By the time i stopped it was 7! At home all i did was shower and blog. And also read some more. I should go now i have to brush and what-not, and i'm tired. Oh yeah and I finished reading The Lost Symbol By Dan Brown!

T3Blog35

Today was strictly a day for homework. I woke up nice and late so i could be fully rested for what the day would bring me. While my friends played outside i was slaving away for hours on my homework. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into it. Okay, maybe the picture wasn't that brutal. Anyways, my day started out working on my science homework. I had to take notes on 13.1 and 13.2 plus i had to complete the entire Check Your Understanding questions. There were about 15 questions in each section! I can tell Miss Tang really wants us to understand what we're learning. I also started thinking about the Pre-IB. I sat on my couch for ten minutes, playing with a rubber band, just thinking about how the next year would be. Science was so long and dull that i took a bit of a brake and watched TV. Before i new it, it was 6. Where did the time fly off to? By 8 i finally started my math homework. It took a while....and by a while i mean a while. That's mainly because i was watching TV while doing my homework, that combination just doesn't work for me. I ended up stopping 2 questions away from being done at midnight! I told you TV and homework didn't mix. I wanted to wake up early to finish those 2 final questions before the soccer year end party started. So yeah my day was filled with procrastination as you can see. But my procrastination only goes so far because i end up finally doing the work the next day, or the next next day. I don't wait till i have to cram and stay up all night. That isn't me at all.

T3Blog34

Friday, finally. This week was also pretty busy, but it all payed off today. I made pancakes in from the foods recipie. It was my third lab this term last term i think. The pancakes were awesome. They were so soft and delicious, and sweet, and fluffy, and scrumptious, and yummy, and...and...good. I had about 5 and then i got pretty full. I remember that everyone in applied skills were pretty hungry. Ben, Mary, Natalie, Jian Vern, and Iris had the rest of my pancakes. During breakfast my creative-ness kicked in and i was having a lot of fun trying to make wierd shapes out of the pancake batter. I tried for micky mouse, but it didn't work out. I made a heart, a star, and a swirly thingy instead. A great way to relax....cooking....sigh... Cooking was the fun part of the day, the not-so-fun/not-looking-forward-to part of the day was the last few moments of it. I didn't want to work on my socials debate, but i have to practice looking people in the eye, i keep looking at the paper. Also If you didn't know what to say you looked really bad....saying ummm....also bad...I'll try my best, but there are no promises when i get nervous.

T3Blog33

Today i noticed that i had a lot of free time. I even got to go on facebook today! That's a miracle since i haven't been on facebook in a couple of months-maybe sine last year. The only homework i got today was for math. We have a science project- we must make up a game that helps us learn/review everything we learned in the unit. I'm in a group with wayne, yuchen, and shania. We have thought of a great variation to monopoly. We were having some trouble with what we were going to make the money, but i fixed that problem. Now we have to think of other things......Anyways, i was surprised when i came home. I only had math homework! I finished my math homework before 6 o'clock. I also went on facebook, researched some stuff about debate- for debate club since i had no idea what they were talking about because i came later on. I also made a google docs for the science game, they actually do help. If one person goes on even for a little bit everyone is updated when they go on. So convenient....... On top of all that stuff i also read, and i sort of got really into this drawing i was making. I started doodling in the inner cover of my agenda and made this wierd design. It inspired me and i have made a new type of block letter that actually looks nice when i draw it! I was thinking that maybe i could try to draw the cover the agenda this year. It's worth a try. And it will get the creative juices flowing. I don't normally have much time to randomly draw, i forgot how much fun it was. I then ate dinner- this is why my blog is written pretty late today. I started reading and lost track of time. My day wasn't a total waste of time. Now i'm going to brush and then sleep. BYe!
