T1blog29 Back to the books!

Math was longer than i'd expected it to feel. It was easier than usual though, except for the quiz we had. It was 10 questions long, but the last three were pretty challenging. Next class I have a math chapter 1 test. There's nothing like a chapter test to tell you that school has officially started. I mean now that all the introductions are over the teachers are assigning homework like we only have this year to learn everything till grade 12.
French was a bit better. I had a substitute and he spoke in french, the whole time. I only caught every other word that he said. It was difficult, but i got through it. I realized in french that i should brush up on my numbers. We were reading out of the text book today and i didn't know how to say a date because the number was too big! When i get the time i will do that.
This year i think English is my new favourite subject! We've been reading a lot, which i love, and we're going over the short story terms and things like that. I got a very good score last year so i think it'll go well this year as well. We are going to have a test on short story terms and the short story's that we read in class. Now that i think of think all of them involved a tragic murder or sorrowful ending. In all the short stories we read someone died...so sad.
Science wasn't all fun and games this time. We need to prepare a partial lab report for a lab we're going to make up ourselves! It involves chewing gum. We have to make an experiment that shows which piece of gum is the stickiest out of three different brands of gum. The lab's on Thursday- I think. Speaking of experiments i forgot about the science fair! This weekend i'm going to do some research and try to find inspiration.
I played outside with my friends after school until 6pm and then it was back to the books! I'm glad tomorrow is colaborative planning, it's good to sleep in sometimes.
