T2Blog17 Music.

I knew we had to write something about the that song i just didn't know what the topic was. Now that i know i guess i'll just write about it in today's blog. First of all i'd like to say that Bob Marley's songs all seem to have a huge message to them. Or maybe it was just the ones used to the playing for change music videos. This song is about equality. In one verse he says that there will always be war if we still have a lower class and are racial. He also says that war is not the solution.....when he says "killing the country, for no reason". He also refers to the conflicts in Africa. The more you look at it the more messages you find. And the fact that the music video was made by different people around the world, different ethnicities and econimis status's, sort of makes the song have more meaning. The people in the music video aren't being racist or discriminated by their wealth. That's definately not a coincident. I've got a feeling we're going to be listenning to one of the next video's maybe...."Don't Worry". Anyways, today i got some math homework. I didn't get to finish that math homework, but i understood math so that's better than finishing it and not understanding. I studied a lot today for the math test on Wednesday. I also read over some science notes for the science test on Friday. Since i slept a bit late yesturday i slept for 2 hours after school today. When i woke up it was 9 and i couldn't believe i'd actually fallen asleep. Now i'm very wide awake..........I am also going to practice one more time for the applied skills presentation and then i'll probably sleep, or read.

T2Blog16 Science madness!!!

Okay so the day started out fine....happy and fun. I went for my soccer game and it snowed throughout the whole thing. It was so much fun running through the snow. We tied our soccer game by the way. So yeah anytime before 7 i was happy. I finished all my math homework and went to my grandparents house. I ate really sugary cookies too! Anyways after 7 when i went on the computer i realized i had a lot of stuff to work on for Science. There were many things to make and i still haven't finish them all. I'm definitely sleeping after school tomorrow. Need that sleep back!! Anyways i just have to brush and finish off the last of the flashcards and I'm basically done. I'm going to go....need to finish.

T2Blog15 Not Fun

Today is Saturday, and even though i got enough sleep and had a pretty good time. This day lead to tomorrow and tomorrow isn't happy. Yes i am a psychic now. Today was a huge mess with the whole meeting up to work on Science. We were supossed to go to wayne's house, but i didn't have a car so i couldn't get dropped off. I was going to take the bus, but i'm not allowed to take the bus back when it get's dark out. So i was trapped at home.....Instead of meeting at Wayne's house Shania came to my house and Yuchen to Wayne's. Yuchen actually came late and we was at Wayne's house at 5. That was the time Shania left, so we got a lot of stuff done, but we still had a lot to do.....It's not going to be good tomorrow. At least i can hope for some snow. Okay another short blog today....don't worry it'll be longer ....Maybe on Monday?

T2blog14 Last day

I don't know what to write about. Were we supposed to write about that song we heard in applied skills today? I don't really know. It was a really good song. About war.....and how people don't want it anymore. I don't know how that relates to particle physics though. My imagination isn't running today. I really wanted to present my power point today..... I'd better go next week or else .... I've even been practicing, a lot. It would be a waste if i had to wait another week. This is going to be a short blog. I'm quite tired and i'm trying out Sharon's blog writing style. Not working out for me. I have lengthy writing because i tend to go on and on about nothing. I've got much math homework to catch up on and i really have to work on my science game. We're going to be meeting tomorrow at Wayne's house. Hopefully we finish tomorrow. I don't want to stay up late on Sunday....might have to though......

T2Blog13 Let it Snow, Let it snow, Let it snow...

I want it to snow! I really hoped it would snow today, but it didn't Darn! It had better snow tomorrow or else I'll be really disappointed! I want to have a snowball fight......Tomorrow I'm planning on walking to school, and that is the main thing i want to do. I'll also take pictures of the awesome winter wonderland we'd be in for a few hours until people start shoveling it. Anyways today was okay..... I don't think our group presented very well for our english presentation. My voice was too monotonous and dull. Well, that's what i got from the audience, or maybe they were just tired and wanted to get the presentations over with. We were the last group to go. I hope Mr. Hauk will mark easy on the presentation part..... it could really pull our overall mark down. In science we went over things about electricity and basically finished all of chapter 9. I'm going to start on my notes for that on Saturday (Maybe friday if i have the will power). We mainly got our science proposals and worked on our science games in class though. Shania and I did well, extremely well! I think we make a good team. For our science game project i must make the instructions and it is very complicated. I have to work very hard if i want to make thorough insturctions. Since instructions are going to be the basis of how to play the game to the players playing it. Yeah......After lunch was the testing! That was really fun. I already chose all the people who are going to make it, for whatever program their trying out for. The girl in the Santa Hat is going to make it. Christmas spirit! And i just got a vibe from her. Other people looked very overconfident, i'm sad to say that i thought some of them would make it. Even though i don't like people like that... Some people started watching the Television, they will all get in. They weren't overconfident, still nervous, but trying to occupy themselves with something less stressful i guess, since they were done that section. It was a fun 3 hours. I should go now, must wake up early so i can walk in the snow. It had better snow.

T2(super)Blog12 Particle Physics + One Love

I didn't really understand what you meant when you said to find the relation between one love and particle physics, i didn't start thinking about it until about half an hour ago. I went on you tube and started listening to one love and then i searched up particle physics online. I have found the relation! One Word. Unification. Unification = Together. In particles Physics the physicists are trying to find Unification of the four forces, in one love they are trying to unify the world and solve problems and such. Which is exactly what the physicists are trying to do. The four forces could be a metaphor for the people on earth, a very good metaphor. At first i was thinking about how particles make up the whole universe and people make up the whole world and we have to work together to make something bigger. Because if you put particles together you create me! Or human beings. If you put human beings together, you hopefully make something better. Like people working together to fund raise for the poor. I think both ideas were really good. It's a good thing i started listening to that song. It's a good song, i was singing it all day. It's definitely stuck in my head. One love.......One heart......Let's get together and Unify the world......lol

T2Blog11 Having Fun

It was a good day today. I am content. Not sad, not mad, not tired. Well maybe a bit tired, but i'm writing my blog at 10:00 so i think that's a great feat. In English, we once again didn't get to present our story. We are definitely going next class. I want to practice before we present-at least once- but Eugene is too lazy, and Mary can't meet after school. I really wanted to though.......Anyways, in science i was also content. It wasn't too crazy and stressing, and i found out that i got an A. All i have to finish in science is my science game. Wayne made a list of things each of us needs to do, i'm in charge of instructions. I also found some pictures of scientific people like Thompson and Rutherford. Math was also very nice. I actually understood what we went over in class! I think this is one of the best Day 2's i've ever had. Mary and I found time to play Go, this game where you have to trap the other persons peices. I wasn't very good, but i still had fun. In french we went over some stuff about sports. We wrote a journal in class, i thought i did pretty well. I can't wait till Thursday, helping out at the testing should be fun. By the way i wanted to remind you to remember to excuse our absense in the attendence. Last time we went on a fieldtrip and i was marked away and the school e-mailed my mom. After school i went to volunteering at sunset. We're close to our winter festival now. If you know any little kids tell them to come to Sunset on Monday the 21st at 6. Only 4 dollars per person! Anyways i should go i want to review math some more. BYe.
