T1Blog10 So cold.......

When i woke up this morning it was sooo cold. I was shivering in my room. When i came outside is was like i was in some sort of dry cold place where the wind blows freezing daggers of ice at you. My fingers were completely immobile within 5 minutes of walking outside (after school that is because i didn't walk to school). When i came home after school i figured out that my window was open! I can't believe i left my window open, that's why my room was so cold. I'm still shivering a bit, even though the window is closed. It must be the room that's so cold...... First period, applied skills, was good. I didn't present my power point today! I wasn't exactly ready, but i wanted to get it over with. In social studies Mr.martin told us to write another essay. This wasn't an in class thing though, it's due on Wednesday and most of it is in point form anyways. I think i'm good at finding evidence for the essay, it helps to back statements up. Anyways, PE was awesome. This was definately the best square dancing class i've had all term. In foods we did a lab. We made Latkes. I didn't know what they were until Ms. MConnon showed us our demo. There is an indian dish similar to latckes, except we don't grate the potatoes and it's more spicy. Overall i think this was one of the best days of the term. I didn't do my presentation in applied skills, i had fun in square dancing, i make latkes, and i'm not completely tired. I hope tomorrow is just as good. I just realized that there are only two more weeks left until winter break! I can sleep in again! But ooh noo.....that means the year is almost over........Yikes.

T2(superblog)Blog09 forgot to change terms......

I forgot that is was a new term and that i had to start from 1 on my blogs. Anyways not that that's sorted out, my day was pretty good. I didn't actually have a lot of homework, the biggest thing was the applied skills power point. I was already done, so i revised it a bit more and then practiced presenting it. I think i'm presenting tomorrow, it depends if the people in front of me take long. I don't think they will, presentations have been pretty short, my is only 13 minutes. Today, even though it was sunny, it was cold! If went outside the wind was blowing really hard and the sun was so bright that i couldn't see. On top of the wind blowing in my face i was practically blind during the game. We still played well though. When i came back i didn't go into homework immediately, first i rested and ate some food. At around 3 i started my math and foods homework. I then worked on applied skills. Now i'm writing my blog. It looks like my blog is going to be pretty short......I don't know how to make this blog super......SUPER! How to make it super??? I'll talk about the weather then......I heard it was going to snow, but then the sun comes out and ruins it for me. I wanted it to snow! They said it was going to snow on Wednesday, then Thursday, then Friday! I just checked the weather it's going to be fairly sunny all week long.....why with the sun? I want snow, not sun. Both would be nice, but i'm not picky. In the top of the page are random pictures i thought were cool. They're of past winters in Vancouver.

T1Blog88 Science Game

All i did today was science. I woke up at 9 o'clock first and overheard my parents, actually i didn't over hear them because they were talking to me. They were asking me if i'd eaten anything after soccer, i had, but i didn't know if i'd responded or not. When i woke up i was pretty rested up. Today i went to the library (the one at oakridge) because Wayne, Shania and I were working on our Science game. Yu chen couldn't make it, so it was just the three of us. We were supposed to meet at 4, but Wayne got lost and by the time we started it was more like 4:20. We planned out the rules of the game and it's very complicated. We making a game based on Monopoly, but i don't think we'll finish in time. I really don't want to be staying up late over this game. Maybe i'll put a schedule of what each of us should do so that everyone knows their jobs. It would probably be better. Anyways, by the time i came home it was 6:30 and then i basically chilled out for the rest of the day. I was going to do my homework, or some of it at least, but i didn't feel in the mood. It was one of those days. I still feel sort of lazy. Anyways i have to get up at 8 tomorrow for the soccer game. ByE

T1Blog87 Too sleepy!

Today was a good day i guess. After school i was pretty tired and i didn't get any homework done today, it's my day off. In english our group still didn't present our story! Although it is fun watching other people read out their's i want to get it over with!!! In science we got all the dates for our projects and tests and when they were due/happening. The science game is due on the 14th and the unit test is on the 18th. The unit review, from what i heard, is due sometime next week, but i already finished mine so i'm good. In math we finished off chapter 3 and Mr. C said that we are probably going to have a final test for chapter 3 and 4 before the term ends. I can't wait for that......(being sarcastic). Is there an emoticon for being sarcastic? Anyways, in french we basically listenned the Ms. Ziakos talk about our new unit on sports and stuff. Our next project is going to be about Sports Reporting ans such. It's supossed to tie in with the olympics. Anyways after school Vanessa came over and we worked on our foods project. She stayed till about 6 and after i dropped her off i went straight to soccer. I was sadly late, but at least i came. After soccer i was totally beat. I came back from soccer at 9:30. And at 10:30 i was sitting on the sofa reading my book and i just fell alseep. When i woke up in the middle of the night i realized i hadn't eaten dinner and that i was still on the couch, shivering because i didn't have a blanket. Apparently my parents kept trying to wake me up, and i actually responded, but i think i was talking in my sleep because i don't remember saying anything to them!

T1Blog86 So many things to do

I woke up today, pretty refreshed from the awesome day i had yesterday. I'm glad Wednesday was so good because i wouldn't have lasted if Wednesday had been stress city. Today wasn't tiring before 3, it was after 3 that it got really busy. I had debate after school and when it ended i walked home with my friend who had drama (the one act plays). I got home at around 5:20 and then ate something....I was really hungry. I then rested until my mom came home at 5:45, then i started doing some homework. I started with applied skills, wanting to get the notes over with. I moved on to my science proposal and then worked on the science Unit Review. Everything was due tomorrow! I had enough time to do them, but i was still tired because i walked to and from school, in the cold, i square danced, and i had much homework. Science.....i don't know how i feel about it. Sometimes it's good and pats me on the back, sometimes it's bad and does the opposite.....Anyways, i am very tired now. I'm just going to brush and get to sleep. I'm glad tomorrow if Friday. I'm sleeping for a few hours tomorrow after school. I need to plan out the days my group for the science game will meet, so im going to cut this blog short.

T1blog85 Days are getting shorter, then why do i have more time?

Today i noticed that i had a lot of free time. I even got to go on facebook today! That's a miracle since i haven't been on facebook in a couple of months-maybe sine last year. The only homework i got today was for math. We have a science project- we must make up a game that helps us learn/review everything we learned in the unit. I'm in a group with wayne, yuchen, and shania. We have thought of a great variation to monopoly. We were having some trouble with what we were going to make the money, but i fixed that problem. Now we have to think of other things......Anyways, i was surprised when i came home. I only had math homework! I finished my math homework before 6 o'clock. I also went on facebook, researched some stuff about debate- for debate club since i had no idea what they were talking about because i came later on. I also made a google docs for the science game, they actually do help. If one person goes on even for a little bit everyone is updated when they go on. So convenient....... On top of all that stuff i also read, and i sort of got really into this drawing i was making. I started doodling in the inner cover of my agenda and made this wierd design. It inspired me and i have made a new type of block letter that actually looks nice when i draw it! I was thinking that maybe i could try to draw the cover the agenda this year. It's worth a try. And it will get the creative juices flowing. I don't normally have much time to randomly draw, i forgot how much fun it was. I went to soccer at 8 and came back at around 9:30. I then ate dinner- this is why my blog is written pretty late today. I started reading and lost track of time. My day wasn't a total waste of time, i talked to Vanessa about our foods project, then got some food labels and a kraft dinner macoroni box for out project. Now i'm going to brush and then sleep. BYe!

T1Blog84 Square Dancing

Square Dancing was awesome! After lunch when we were in PE i was so happy we finally got to this part of PE. The only down side is you don't know how often people clean their hands, but i sanitize my hands after PE anyways (swine Flu!). I remembered a lot of the songs and dances we learned last year, too bad we didn't get to dance with the grade 8's. I wanted to get a kick out of them square dancing for the first time. The mapping project was due in socials today. It's a good this i finished all of it yesterday, although mine looks sort of odd because one paragraph is in pen and the other is in computer ink. I hope Mr. Martin doesn't mind. We've immediately begun the next chapter in the book. The french revolution! We aren't going to write an essay for this chapter though- too bad for me. I might actually be good at writing them. In foods we are starting a project where we have to make our own food product label and nutrition label . Vanessa and I are partners and we have chosen to make a Macaroni and cheese box. It's not KD though. We're going to make up a company name and have a mouse mascot sort of thing. One pet peeve that i have, is when you love this companies processed food, and you eat it everyday. You know that it isn't the best choice (like maybe those Ritz cheese crackers), but you know that is has a lot of cheese in it (again referring to the Ritx cheese crackers). Then suddenly they have an add on TV saying "Ritz bitz cheese crackers NOW MADE WITH REAL CHEESE". What was it made of before? They totally decieve you, it not a very nice trick to pull. I am going to keep an eye out for Nutella next. Tomorrow i might see an add saying "Now made with real milk" or "Now made from real cocoa". The injustice!
